The University of Oklahoma’s Office of Athletic Communications serves as the liaison between the school’s various athletic programs
and sports media outlets. The Athletics Communications Office is the sole force behind any media relations, including press
conferences, media events and interviews. The office’s representatives are also present at all OU athletic events. As a Media Relations
Intern, performed the following tasks:
• Served as the Assistant Sports Information Director and secondary media contact for baseball, women’s soccer and men’s gymnastics
• Attended press conferences including both student-athletes and coaches, transcribed quotes
