De portfolio bestaat uit twee delen:
Vijf opdrachten, behorende bij elk van de vijf gevolgde lezingen en op de desbetreffende lezing
af te halen. De opdrachten worden ingeleverd samen met het essay. Bij aanvang van elke lezing
kan je aan het onthaal een opdrachtenfiche ophalen. Deze fiches zijn persoonlijk en je kan maar
1 fiche afhalen (maw afhalen voor iemand anders kan niet). Die opdrachten verschillen van
lezing tot lezing en dienen ter verwerking van de inhoud van de lezing en ter ver dieping. Ze
vormen tegelijkertijd een voorbereiding voor het schrijven van het essay.
Een essay dat bestaat uit een persoonlijke reflectie op het jaarthema, met een degelijke
probleem- en vraagstelling en argumentatie. De argumenten moeten onderbouwd zijn met met
verwijzingen naar minimaal 3 wetenschappelijke informatiebronnen waaronder 1 boek en 3
verwijzingen naar de Studiumpublicaties Karakters. De student is vrij om vanuit het jaarthema
een onderwerp naar eigen interesse uit te werken. Dat kan bijvoorbeeld zijn vanuit zijn eigen
opleiding of expertise of vanuit een eigen interesseveld.
