Why would we work together?
Having lived and studied in 4 countries, I believe that our
cultural and ethnical identities are immensely important for
the environment we daily experience. The devil is in the
detail, and life is the in the routine, which has to be
performed in suitable for comfortable and efficient use
spaces. The ability to work in English, German, Spanish,
Ukrainian and Russian shapes my will to be a part of
international practice, to make the most use of my skills.
Having experience in liberal arts, especially mixed media
and oil painting creation, has formed my approach to
architectural design. Mixing the analogue and digital tools
to visualize and understand the idea, I still believe that the
core value of any project is communication. As a young
specialist, what I have is state-of-the-art skills to bring new
visions to life, and what I need is the opportunity to show
how qualified I am to do that.
5. the fold
Multifunctional cultural center in Madrid,
Carabanchel district (40 °23´37´´N3°42´57´´W)
As obviously comes from the name, this project
is based on a few concepts : functionality,
creation of an "icon" on a city scale, and theory
of "The Fold" by Gilles Deleuze.
the cultural center is located in Madrid,
Carabanchel, which has been an area of my
personal investigation the previous year. In the
past years, Carabanchel has developed a strong
artistic identity, which keeps evolving and needs
more spaces to unfold fully. The Fold consists of
11 independent blocks, each designed as a
flexible space to fit different functions :
temporary and permanent exhibition spaces,
workshops for artists and those willing to learn,
public library, cafeteria, offices and large
multifunctional space for hosting events. All of
the separate buildings are conceptually and
technically joined by a common roof, which
provides protection for consequentially created
"interior streets" piercing the center.

10. ARTIST'S TOOLBOX
Residences for artists, located in Madrid,
Carabanchel district.
This project has started as a research about the
Carabanchel district in Madrid, and actually
served as a theoretical base for the previous
project - "The Fold". While the area and its
specialties were studied, necessity for temporary
artistic residences became obvious, as well as
the fact that main objectives of this project for
me are: flexibility, mobility and sustainability in
the use/re-use of materials, as well as designed
elements.
The essence here is pretty simple : Artist´s
Toolbox is a catalogue, with a set of elements
that can be assembled and re-arranged for three
different capacities : 3 residents, 2 residents, 1
resident + open studio space. Depending on
necessities of each of residents, different
exterior and interior components would be used,
with the possibility of easy replacement in the
future.

Here you can check some of the samples of exterior and interior components, included in the catalogue. All of them were divided into four groups, to provide more sound
insulation or more sound resonance, more day light or more directed artificial light. The materials include : OSB panels, timber planks, corrugated metal sheets,
polycarbonate panels. Exterior components were designed to perform enclosure functions and be manufactured easily, but adding a more playful look to the
environment. On the other hand, interior components were directly inspired in different games, focusing on flexibility and compactness in space.

16. EPHESUS
EXHIBITION PATH
Located in Izmir province, Turkey, ancient
city of Ephesus
Ephesus keeps attracting thousands of people yearly,
even after its´best times have passed. Some
preserved buildings, such as Celsus Library are even
being used to host special concerts of classical music,
and the whole site is a major tourist attraction of the
area.
This project is a proposal for a united path, or
actually a system of pathways to be implemented on
site for temporary exhibition "Walking Through
Time". It seeks to solve the problems of accessibility
and connectivity between different areas of the site,
which are caused by major level differences. The
exhibition is aiming to tell about glorious past of the
city, creating immersive experiences, such as re-
creation of ancient atmospheres inside of geodesic
domes with VR projections inside. Temporary
installations, based on analysis of architectural
typologies prevailing in Ephesus over time are also
spread along the way, connected in different ways, to
ensure the accessibility for different age groups.

19. This project seeks to find new solutions to the
problems of investigating and preserving nature of
Amazonia and especially Rio Negro. Various non-
profitable organizations, as well as natives of the
region have been doing preservation work and
activism channeled to save endangered species of the
area for years. The floating complex provides a highly
mobile design, that can be relocated along the river,
not contaminating or disturbing the land and having
minimum impact on the water. Moreover, more
appealing and comfortable design is thought to help
attract investments for the organizations and
improve their image. The structure of the modules is
directly inspired in the "Victoria Amazonica" - largest
of the water lily species. Its network of ribs that
evenly distributes weights along the structure is
digitally modelled to be 3-d printed and encapsuled
in another hollow circular platform to make up a base
of each module.

23. The (NEW) SPIRAL
A park located in Madrid, Carabanchel district,
occupying a plot that used to belong to a
prison and has been now abandoned for years.
This park is designed to be both: the new public
recreational space at the local scale and the new
transport interconnection point at the city scale.
Carabanchel district has been developing swiftly
during last years, therefore with the
densification and diversification of its
population, new cultural needs arise. This
proposal includes exhibition spaces for large
scale sculptures, cafeteria, sports areas and
playgrounds above the ground level, as well as a
hidden passage leading to a museum, which
revolves in a spiral. This project includes a base
for the next stage of development: design of a
residential tower, integrated into the New Spiral
park. A 20-meter-wide ramp is thought to
connect first floor of the future tower with the
public open space, providing access to the
underground part and generating constant flow.
UEM/STUDIO G5 COURSE/2022
26. SEGMENT
Located in Madrid, Carabanchel district,
the Segment Residential Tower is
integrated into the New Spiral Park design.
The main challenge of this project was finding
balance between a high-rise residential building
and a spacious cultural public area that
surrounds it. Is it a tower in the park, or is it a
park around the tower? Design process started
with answering that and many more questions. I
believe, successful integration of two such
different typologies depends on the use of a
complementary approach.
Including 25 residential floors, 2 terraces and 3
floors of underground parking, Segment is the
example of a modern integrated residential
project. Its third floor is a terrace with public
access, which is interconnected with the park and
its underground exhibition spaces by a vast
ramp; its upper terrace is located on the twelfth
floor, providing best views to the park and
creating the highest viewpoint of the area.

30. CAMPUS - N
Location: Calle Tajo 28670,Villaviciosa de
Odón, Madrid, Spain
With the built surface of 2,788.851m2, this
project is combining a library with private and
public study spaces, an eating hall for the
students and a cafeteria. Mainly constructed with
timber modular structures and CLT floor panels,
buildings´ assembly process is designed to be
executed in 3 stages on site. Its basement and
kitchen areas are built with on-site poured
concrete (stage 1),due to safety factors of the
areas with high fire risks. The rest of the spaces
are arranged around a double-height
multifunctional patio that is supported but steel
space truss frames (stage 2). After last timber
modules are placed (stage 3), west, east and
south façades are enclosed with a light-weight
aluminum self-supporting sub-structure of a
micro super capacitor façade system.
This campus extension is an attempt to combine
programmatic versatility of space design with
modern sustainable construction technologies
and site-specific strategies.

35. LVL PAVILION
Proposal located in Parque Del Oeste,
heart of Madrid.Team : Anastasiya Kudinova,
Cristobal Heraud
This temporary pavilion is designed as a multi-
functional space, that provides different
possibilities of use, both - conceptually and
literally. Different overlapping and intersecting
layers, that shape the structure and compose
walls can be used as so called "built-in furniture",
with extended parts used as seats on both :
inside and outside. Project combines interior
shaded space with exterior shading and leisure
area, using its geometry to the fullest. An
essential goal of the design was using
sustainable materials and lowering impact of the
construction on the area, while creating a
recognizable unique design. Mostly, LVL wooden
panels of 6 x 2.5 x 0.05 m. were used, supported
by wooden joists. The pavilion is touching the
ground in less then 30% of its area, creating the
feeling of almost being ready to take off.

37. CONSTRUCTION PROCESS
EXPLODED AXONOMETRIC VIEW
CONSTRUCTION PROCESS DIAGRAMS 1/3
Structure consists of 22 platforms made out of 219 LVL panels (2,500 mm x 6,000 mm x 51 mm, further
pre-cut to specified individually sizes) and 561 wooden joist (100 mm x 50 mm x 6000 mm). LVL panels are
joined on site, after the staking is finished and foundations are placed. To facilitate construction process,
two small perforations are made in the panels on each level to reassure that they are matching according
to the designed geometry. The joists are placed between each layer of panels and function as supports,
transferring loads to the foundations.
39. TIH -
Tourism Innovation hub for Mastercard.
Pavilion stand at FITUR 2023 in
IFEMA,Madrid.
For the annual second most important tourism fair in
the world - "FITUR 2023" - MasterCard hired Amarillo
Studio, where I have been practicing at the moment,
to be an official architectural design studio of their
pavilion in the fair. Main responsibilities I have had in
the project included : full design and execution of
the model, rendered views and video of the project,
architectural drawings.
Creating modular, flexible and sustainable
architecture were the objectives of this project. Fully
designed, produced and constructed in Spain, it
supports local providers and is made out of only
local materials. Fully recyclable wooden structures
and designed to be re-used and easily re-assembled
in different locations. Modularity of the project
allows maximum flexibility, in term of spatial
distribution, as well as possibilities of expansion.
Pavilion won awards "The best stand" and
"Sustainable stand".

44. museum
of emotions
Competition was launched by Buildner in 2023.
Team: Cristobal Heraud, Anastasiya Kudinova
This was a very challenging, unique project, that
forced us to think outside of the comfort zone and
literally see the world upside down, as you will see in
the following competition panel. The brief required
design of two separate exhibition halls, which had to
evoke opposite emotions and a reception/entrance
area. The most peculiar thing about the task was the
fact that we could not use any text in the entire
panel. We often hear that drawings "have to speak
for themselves", in this case the phrase was taken
very literally. The main concept of this proposal is
plurality of perceptions : all of the emotions we
experience depend on individual circumstances and
experiences - on our personal point of view.
MUSEUM OF EMOTIONS COMPETITION / SECOND EDITION /2023
Visitor of the Museum of Emotions is offered a unique experience of entering a mystical sphere, which contains two identically mirrored spaces. Once the visitor has been inside for a
while, the sphere flips, making everyone experience the same space in a completely different way. The trick here is very simple, yet very strong: all of the "monsters" on the "dark side"
of the sphere are a figments of our imagination - they dissolve with the speed of light on the "bright side". For me, this project was mainly a mind experiment and embodiment of a
beautiful metaphor.
So, please, take a closer look....

46. "THE MERGE"
Iceland Greenhouse Restaurant competition
by Buildner (former Bee Breeders). Site
located near to Mývatn Natural Bath.
Team : Anastasiya Kudinova, Cristobal Heraud,
Macarena Anduaga, Khadija El Mediouri,Anna
Brovoll,Giulia De´Glinoccenti
The project is a restaurant with integrated
greenhouse, designed to be located near to
Mývatn natural baths and Hverfjall volcano in
Iceland. The combination of local materials, such
as volcanic rocks and prefabricated steel
structure is a compromise in materiality choice,
to keep the dialogue with environment yet be
able to sustain complex geometry of the project.
Main objective of geometrical approach in was
maintaining continuity of views and being able to
capture maximum amount of daylight for the
greenhouse. Major inspiration also came from
the on-site discoveries of local soil, which
movement shapes irregular patterns over time.
