Inga Stegvilaitė, VšĮ „Versli Lietuva”- project manager shared number of interesting initiatives the company is delivering in order to stimulate entrepreneurship among young people.
The result of these initiatives is the fact that pupils and members of business community are actively participating in activities implemented all over Lithuania. VšĮ “Versli Lietuva“ company gives opportunities to implement creative entrepreneurship projects, seeks funding for projects, suggests professional moderators for future business-men.
In Inga Stengvilaitė’s opinion „Lietuvos Junior Achievement” co-operation with VšĮ „Versli Lietuva“ and other organizations stimulating entrepreneurship and creativity will create even greater opportunities for young people in Lithuania to participate in similar projects.
LJA presented „CENTRES - Creative Entrepreneurship in Schools” project and its outcomes. The participants of CENTRES shared their experiences emphasizing importance of creative development based on the opinion that theory without practice is boring and not relevant and that it is essential that schools need help to organize competitions and projects similar to what was done by CENTRES. It has been stressed that project’s activities involved actual work, real understanding of the market, better interpretation of the value of money. On top of that pupils had real opportunity to manage a chosen project themselves, implement it and as a result of it develop leadership and team-work skills.
Thanks to CENTRES pupils realized the importance of networking, the power of negotiating skills, value of working together in teams and the essence of leadership skills.
