• Served as liaison for the reporting of Conflict Minerals data from suppliers and answering requests
from customers for ITW’s Conflict Minerals statement.
• Assisted in the transfer of commercial switch product lines to Juarez, Mexico from Buffalo Grove,
Illinois and the aerospace/military line to Des Plaines, Illinois.
2012 to Manufacturing Engineer / Buyer. Reported to the Operations Manager. Responsible for managing
2014 the Active Touch and 22 Switch production lines for all ITW Switches locations, as well as all
components and finished goods purchases, with an annual spend of $6 million.
• Reduced late orders to customers from $1 million dollars to less than $60,000 dollars in 6 months,
while increasing on-time delivery performance to customers from 60% to 95%.
• Implemented a new manual scheduling system using the information from the ROI production
software system and developed reports in Excel.
• Utilizing 80/20 analysis, implemented a MIN-MAX blanket purchase order, and Vendor Managed
Inventory systems, to help alleviate part shortages and delays in manufacturing.
