-Kennametal bought ATI Firth Sterling in November of 2014
-Primary job duties include testing and making final decision on powder usage
For products. Consists of metallurgical testing and elongation measurements
For each class of powder used.
-Responsible for plant wide calibrations on all equipment for individual employees
And stationary plant usage scales, surface plates, Comparator and any other heavy

-Manage day to day operations of the quality assurance laboratory.
-Created standard operating procedures (SOP), job safety analysis (JSA) and test methods for
start-up operations at the Scottsboro, Alabama facility.
-Ensure that all quality assurance department employees adhere to all defined company principles
and safety regulations.
-Utilize enterprise-wide Systems Applications and Products (SAP – ECC 6.0) environment to
conduct daily in-depth analysis on all quality assurance data.
-Execute, monitor and troubleshoot transactions within the SAP ECC 6.0 environment. Take
corrective action to extract, correct and re-import invalid data as needed.
-Work with analysts at off site locations to ensure all transactions and data are presented
correctly.
-Work with system administrators and network administrators on all issues pertaining to system
downtime.
-Submit Remedy tickets on an as needed basis to modify the way data is presented through the
SAP graphical user interface (GUI) and add additional data elements so other business processes
execute correctly.
-Daily utilization of Microsoft Excel and Mini Tab 15 to conduct statistical and quantitative
analysis of all departmental data.
-Compile graphs and analytical charts based on statistical information derived from source data.
-Develop weekly reports and presentations of statistical results for process engineers, plant
management, production management and executive stakeholders at the Denver, Colorado
facility.
-Maintain and update data for all calibrations and laboratory equipment. This data is utilized as
the system of record for all ISO purposes.
