Judy created a Twitter account to develop her personal learning network (PLN). She began following influential educators like George Couros and Kim Peacock who tweet regularly about teaching and learning with technology. She also follows EDIT 202, the course Twitter account where students and instructors discuss course topics. Over the past month, Judy expanded her PLN by following more accounts and participating in weekly hashtag discussions. She has used Twitter to advance her learning about effectively integrating technology and will continue growing her PLN to stay current as technology advances.

Instructor, supporter, and researcher at the
U of A. She is a teacher and current with
knowledge in technology.
Kim is a teacher in the EDIT 202 class and
has great energy when she teaches. Her
enthusiasm is admiring and is a quality I aspire
for in my future career.
Kim has a great understanding and knowledge
with technology and education is moving
towards technology based. Works a lot on my
EDIT 202 online lab portion.
Does not tweet every day.

EDIT 202 is an undergraduate course in
the faculty of Physical Education at the
U of A.
This course is a great tool for the class to
work together and learn off of each other
through the duration of the class. Tweets are
posted here from students and teachers and
questions are answered. Positive feedback
and great discussions are had.
EDIT 202 is a course that teaches about how
to utilize the benefits of technology properly.

8. CONNECTIONS WITH MY PLN
From my initial creation of Twitter I have advanced my Personal Learning Network.
I have created connections by following more people and people following me.
I have joined in group discussions on Twitter through the duration of class and I
have contributed to weekly discussions on a certain education and technology
based subject.
Twitter has taught me how to advance my PLN through the use of hash
tags, tweeting, and following people.
I have learnt a great deal of information about how to properly use technology and I
have a constant learning pathway ahead of me. Technology will always
advance and my job is to stay current. Twitter is a great tool to learn and
educate yourself.
