Swati Chavan
Survey Date : 2/28/2016
Report Date : 2/29/2016
The results of the Predictive Index® survey should always be reviewed by a trained Predictive Index
analyst. The PI® report provides you with a brief overview of the results of the Predictive Index® and
prompts you to consider many aspects of the results not contained in the overview. If you have not yet
attended the Predictive Index Management Workshop™, please consult someone who has attended in
order to complete the report.
STRONGEST BEHAVIORS
Swati will most strongly express the following behaviors:
Careful with rules; she's precise, by the book, fast-paced, and literal in interpreting rules,
schedules and results.
Detail-oriented and thorough; she works to ensure things don't fall through the cracks, and
follows up to ensure they're done properly and on time.
Driven to achieve operational efficiencies: thinks about what needs to be done and how it can be
done as fast as possible while maintaining a high-quality outcome. Impatient with routines.
Proactivity, assertiveness, and sense of urgency in driving to reach her goals. Openly challenges
the world around her.
Independent in putting forth her own ideas, which are often innovative and, if implemented,
cause change. Resourcefully works through or around anything blocking completion of what she
wants to accomplish; aggressive when challenged.
Impatient for results, she puts pressure on herself and others for rapid implementation, and is far
less productive when doing routine work.

SUMMARY
Swati is an intense, results-oriented person, whose drive and sense of urgency are tempered and
disciplined by her strong concern for the accuracy and quality of the details of any work for which she
is responsible. Her approach to any work she does will be based on thorough analysis and detailed
knowledge of all pertinent facts.
Much more technically than socially-oriented, she has confidence in her technical/professional
knowledge and ability to get things done correctly. With experience, she will develop a high level of
expertise in her work and will be critical of mistakes made either by herself or anybody working under
her supervision. She takes her work and responsibilities very seriously and expects others to do the
same.
In relation to people, Swati is reserved and private, with little interest in small talk. Her interest and her
energy will be focused primarily on her work, and, in general, she is more comfortable and open in the
work environment than in purely social situations. Her style of communication is factual and direct.
Swati is a forceful individual with the drive to make decisions and initiate action. However, she is most
effective when making decisions within her expertise, where she can predict and control the risks
associated with the decisions. She will thoroughly analyze, and often avoid, discussions related to
things she is less familiar with and, therefore, less able to predict and control the accompanying risks.
When under pressure to make risk decisions quickly, she may delay or put off those decisions because
of her strong need to find the "perfect" solution.
MANAGEMENT STYLE
As a manager of people or projects, Swati will be:
Both broadly focused and tactically cognizant; her attention is split equally between goal
attainment and quality assurance – getting it done – and making sure it is done absolutely right
Analytical, intense, and imaginative – a problem solver driven to perfection
Hesitant to delegate authority or details and when she does delegate her follow-up is close and
critical; it is very difficult to meet her exacting standards
Slow to trust others until they have produced accurate, timely results consistently; even then she
is cautious in delegation
Literal in interpreting deadlines; pushes her team hard to meet them
More focused on professional or technical results than on team building or collaboration
Private, reserved, and formal; offers her opinion only after she has mastered the information
herself.
SELLING STYLE
As a salesperson, Swati will be:
Authoritative and assertive when representing products where she is an expert in product
knowledge
Anxious to thoroughly understand any idea, product, or concept before bringing it before clients;
heavily leveraging book knowledge and facts rather than thinking on her feet or 'winging it'
Swati Chavan
Page 3
Better at selling technical or specialized products than intangibles; she's comfortable with and
interested in technical information
Diagnostic in approach; she asks probing questions, ascertains the problem, and applies a
solution proven to work
Vigilant about implementation details and how they will affect the sale; she will sell only what
she knows she can deliver
Eager to discuss proven successes with her product as solid proof of reliability and integrity.
MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES
To maximize her effectiveness, productivity, and job satisfaction, consider providing Swati with
the following:
Encouragement to express her own ideas and put them into action
Freedom from day-to-day pressure to make quick decisions outside her area of expertise
Absence of very close, critical oversight of her work
Opportunities to use her know-how and expertise in finding creative solutions to problems, with
relative freedom from organizational involvement's in doing so.
