NASA Space Shuttle Test Flights
Arranged national and industry coverage of Metcalf & Eddy's participation in
NASA Space Shuttle test flights. Our work resulted in dozens of articles, TV
appearances and professional engineering press coverage for Dr. Otis Granis,
project leader who brought a distinctively inventive philosophy to engineering.
2. Result — Dr. Granis became an engineering folk hero and extensive coverage

Robert A. Monks, Undersecretary of Labor and arranged for Connecticut Mutual

Pension Plan Performance — established Trust Universe Comparison Service as

AgriVest, Inc., an institutional investment advisor specializing in farmland,

On behalf of the Government of Vietnam, we fostered US-Vietnam trade
relations. This included organizing a national press tour for Vietnam’s
ambassador to the US and promoting Vietnamerica, the first US trade expo in
Hanoi. The campaign attracted exhibitors PepsiCo, Gillette, Microsoft, IBM, Kraft
General Foods, United Technologies and Kodak. In addition, Pirozzolo Company
arranged positive coverage by major US TV networks, CNN, AP, Agence France
Presse, NHK, BBC and daily newspapers and newsmagazines worldwide. As a
result of this success, the firm was awarded contracts to develop trade in
Vietnam for Smith & Wesson and International Silver Company (Syratech).
Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries
Consulted to this Japanese Government Organization on issues involving the US

Founder Dick Pirozzolo has 30 years of experience and is an accredited
member of the Public Relations Society of America. His earlier work includes
public relations management positions with Boston University, daily newspaper
reporting, freelance writing for national magazines & newspapers and four
successful non-fiction books, including a history of Television in America. He
was a consultant to WBZ-TV.
Helmut Nollert. Managing Director, HFN Kommunikation, Frankfurt
Helmut Nollert is founder and managing director of our Frankfurt, Germany
affiliate HFN Kommunikation. Helmut studied journalism, philosophy and Slavic
languages at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and at the University
of Zagreb, Croatia. After taking his degree, he began his career as a business
and finance journalist for the international news agency VWD/Reuters and for the
German business magazines Industriemagazin and WirtschaftsWoche.
From 1979 to 1992 his various communication management positions included
PR Manager of Wang Laboratories GmbH, World-wide media relations director
for Nixdorf Computer AG, responsible for the international business press, public
and investor relations and Director of Corporate Communications for Unisys
Germany and Europe.
In 1993 Helmut Nollert founded his own firm, HFN Kommunikation, with
emphasis on corporate communications and public relations. Within HFN he is a
