4. A copy of this form is given to psychologist and IO who by merely
looking at the form visualise persona of individual and then dig deep
through their technique to ascertain personality of the individual e.g.
• A person coming from rural background with parent’s income in lower slab ,with 3-
4 brother and sister should ideally be more sociable with fair organising ability and
one who would plan his career well
• A NCC candidate should be more adventurous indicating a better dynamic man
Hence it is essential that filling of PIQ form is judicious ,bringing out
any thing how so ever small candidate has done which indicates his
polished character and personality.
Columns like interest and hobbies should be chosen properly and
candidate should be in a position to substantiate the same through
projective tests of psychologists and during interview.
Say a candidate indicates reading as his interest/hobby then he
should be prepared to answer books he has read with authors and
probably content
candidate should be able to explain break in education if any which
may be due to illness /unfortunate incidence at home or even
preparation for competition.
