8. CASA Licences, Ratings & Endorsements

9. • 18 years of age
• Have an Aviation Reference Number
• Students must pass a Civil Aviation Safety Class 1 Aviation Medical
• Students must pass security and police check to receive an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
• Complete COMPASS Pilot aptitude test
• Complete pre-enrolment interview with the Head of Operations
• Consent to mandatory random drug and alcohol testing
• Meet the academic suitability by:
• Providing an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (year 12 certificate) or
• Providing an International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB) diploma or
• Providing evidence of successful completion of a qualification that has been delivered in English and:
• Was at level 4 or above (that is Certificate IV or higher qualification)
• Overseas qualification(s) that has been assessed as equivalence or comparable to a qualification at
level 4
• Displaying competence at or above Exit Level 3 in the Australian Core Skills Framework in both reading and
numeracy.
