PIH Adam Piechocki
Biography PIH polish rap artist comes from Bialystok. In 2000 PIH and Tymi as a part of group “17” released an album called “Wielka Niewadoma(The Big Unknown)” The album was released by an underground record label therefore the number of sales were unknown., responsible for album’s production was DJ 600V. After releasing the album both PIH and Tymi featured on many rap tracks by groups such as WYP3, Paktofonika (both of these leading groups on polish rap scene) In 2001 “17” fell apart. Year after this PIH released an EP called “Nie Ma Miejsca Jak Dom(There’s No Place Like Home)” during the same year PIH released an LP album “Boisz Sie Alarmow(You Scared Of Alarms)” Both of these were released by the R.R.X record label. On his second album guests appearances were made by Endefis, WYP3, DJ 600V and many other better known rappers on the Polish rap scene. The other person which featured on the album was Chada which later on PIH released an album “O Nas Dla Was(About Us For You)” After this they were invited to work on Kodex2-Proces compilation, which featured some of the best rap artists from Poland. In October 2004 PIH released a solo album “Krew,Pot I Zly(Blood, Sweat and Tears)” In 2006 together with Pyskaty(exact translation Mouthy) as Skazani na Sukcezz(rough translation Bound to be Successful) released another album “Na Lini Ognia(On the Line Of Fire)” PIH’s latest release was double album “Kwiaty Zla(Flowers of Evil)” first CD was called “Za 11 Polnoc(11 till midnight)” second CD was called “11 Po Polnocy(11 Past Nidnight)”
Image PIH isn’t trying to look and move exactly the same as most of the rappers on the Polish scene, he tries to adapt an image that isn’t influenced by certain fashions popular on the rap scene. This is because he’s probably the most unique rapper on the Polish scene, this due to the way he constructs his songs. His metaphors etc, are sometimes complicated but they portray what is going on in his head and around him. The only time you see PIH looking like a “stereotypical” rapper is in his music videos when he’s wearing his merchant’s clothing.
