The document describes the design and development of a 4 degree of freedom robotic arm that can be controlled wirelessly via a Bluetooth connection. An Android app was developed to control the robotic arm, with data sent from the app via Bluetooth to an Arduino microcontroller. The robotic arm was able to perform basic pick and place tasks to elevate potential for robot deployment. Testing showed the arm could move accurately when jitter issues with continuous data streams were resolved. The 4 degrees of freedom and wireless control allowed for crucial task performance.
