Everyday my life had its ups and downs. My story started with me being born on September 11,
1998, I don’t really like the date of my birthdate because it happened on the same day and month of
9/11, where a lot of people died. My full name is Peter Jessther D. Sison Jr. I lived in the city of
Batangas in the Philippines for ten years where all of my relatives live. I miss my friends and relatives
that are in the Philippines because I haven’t seen them for 3 years; we don’t have any connections
except for online. I don’t talk to them that much because of time difference. I am an only child, but I
want to have at least 1 sibling even thought I know that it is hard to take care of a little sibling since
they cry a lot and causes trouble. I love my parents even though I talk back to them sometimes, they
really care about me, My mom’s name is Jeysel, she came from a simple family, but she has a lot of
siblings, she has 12 siblings including herself, I wonder how my grandmother took care of those many
children. My mom works as a homecare which takes care of a senior. My dad’s name is Peter, same as
my name, he came from a family of four, my dad’s family has a political history because of my
grandfather, he was a mayor on a small town and my uncle is trying to be a mayor on the same town,
soon. My dad works a welder. My life has just started there are still many more memories to make and
life lessons to learn, but this is where my life started.
A story has life lessons to teach. I have a life lesson that was taught to me in a negative way. It
happened to me in grade 4 with me going to a friend’s house. We had nothing to do so my friend
decides to steal his sister’s phonebook, which was my classmate during that time and he decided to call
people from the phonebook. He used someone’s name and says a bunch of stuff that is pretty much
inappropriate. I thought it was funny, I kept laughing even at home. When I went to school my
classmates were talking about the “prank call” incident, at first I didn’t know what they’re talking about.
Then suddenly Marco which was the guy’s name that my friend used came up to me and said “Do you
know who used my name and pranked call people”. I said no. I felt guilty after hearing that. When I got
home, I talked to my friend about what happened in school. He wasn’t worried at all and that made me
feel guiltier after he said that he wasn’t worried. During the assembly the guidance counselor told the
whole school about the incident. It made me feel that I’m going to blow up. Right after the assembly I
told Marco that I was sorry he said its okay but I still need to tell the guidance counselor, so I went and
tell the guidance counselor. She called me and my friend. When she said that she is going to call our
parents I was so scared that I cried, but she still said that she is going to call our parents. I stopped crying
since I knew I deserved it. The guidance counselor told us lessons and not to do it again. The guidance
counselor ended up not calling my parents. I went back to the classroom and apologized to Marco again.
He forgave me. A year later I told my mom what happened since my friend told me to tell my mom, so I
told my mom, my mom was mad at me and scolded me and said not to do it again. Right after that
incident I finally learned a lesson which is don’t do things that you won’t do to yourself in other words
don’t be a hypocrite. Now I know that in the future I won’t do the same mistake.

In the future, there are many things that I would like to do in my life. One of those dreams is to
have a job which is being a computer engineer. I would like to be a computer engineer because I like
going on the computer (a lot!), I just want to know how everything works, I am always curious about
stuff I don’t know just like Curious George. Another reason I was to be a computer engineer is because
my uncle is a computer engineer too and I see him fix computer and assembling them, to achieve it I
need to do my best and finish high school and university. I need to pay attention during classes don’t
fool around, be serious about work and be proud of it. This is just my dream, this probably might not
happen, but I still need to do everything that I could to achieve it.
