I am committed and loyal within all aspect of my working and personal life and this is proven by the length
of service I have given to my current employer.
During the span of my working career I have been involved in starting businesses from scratch in the
north east and making them successful. This was done by remaining focused and driven on the end goal.
My drive to optimise my own performance is what has helped me produce the high standards of work I
expect from myself which in tow has resulted in some great results for the business.
My ability to maintain healthy relationships with my peers and customers enables me to create strong
bonds, in my role these were essential in getting daily duties completed and making sure that both my
engineers and customers knew I was always available for help and support when needed
In my role I get great satisfaction from seeing a process through to the end and taking full accountability
for this. I feel my values and drive to work is what makes me successful and a great assist to any
business.
Over 30 years of working with CCTV have given me knowledge to be able to work with any system and
be able to fix any issues this has in tow been a great help to the company and customers as I was able to
provide accurate and speedy solutions.
My ability to embrace change and work well under pressure has been proven over the years; I put this
down to a number of areas ranging from strong prioritisation skills and effective planning. I feel my ability
to keep my self-motivation and focused in the most hostile climates is something that is certainly needed
as whilst the country is in challenging economical times I can be relied on to deliver top performance.
I also dedicate my spare time to coaching my sons local football team I find this a great outlet from my
working environment as it allows me to separate my working and personal life and it gives me balance.
I feel I am adaptable and easy to manage as I am open to feedback and understand myself and the
impact my actions have on others. I feel my energy and drive to succeed and my positive attitude would
be a strong catalyst in any environment you would put me in and this along with over 30 years’

Technical Installation & Service Manager
 It is my responsibility to take charge of the day to day running of a busy installation, service
department
 Prioritise and delegate jobs on a daily basis for both new installations and existing customer
service calls
 Making sure equipment is available for each job
 Updating both installation and service planner
 Contacting the customer to arrange times and date that suit both the business and themselves
and working around any issues that may arise through this
 Making sure all stock is ordered and inventory spreadsheets are updated
 Making sure that engineers have all relevant tool and are fully trained in how to use them
 Making sure all risk assessment and method statements are completed
 Recognising and arranging any training needs
 Keeping up to date on technical support but training both online and in house
 Liaise with manufactures support lines to assist with any issues that may arise
 Assisting sale in new system designs
 Making sure that all new service calls are logged
 Dealing with customer complaints by remaining calm and professional and resolving what issues I
can, should I not be able to resolve making the customer aware of the next steps and setting the
correct expectations
 Building up and testing new IP systems before going out to install
 Organising additional contractors during busy periods and making sure that works is assigned to
them
 Making sure that any contractors who were hired has all the correct insurances and certificates to
be able to go on sites and install or service a system
 Training new staff and making sure that they were aware of policies and procedures
 Making sure that Health & Safety in the work place is always on the forefront of my staffs mind
