PESDC was established in 1993 with collaboration between the Perak state government, federal government, and local industry. It is equipped with industry-standard equipment and accredited by several skills development agencies. All instructors are certified and dedicated. PESDC aims to be a reliable skills training center for the manufacturing industry and support entrepreneurship by providing training that keeps workers' skills up to date with technological changes.

3. To establish PESDC as The Reliable Skills Training Centre where the manufacturing industry
can look towards meeting its need whilst at the same time serving as a springboard for
entrepreneurial development.
To provide training and dissemination of information that will assist the manufacturing industry
in keeping abreast with changes in technologies, enhancing productivity and quality of
production as well as to encourage entrepreneurial development in the industry.

constant technological changes and keep abreast with the technological advancement.
To IMPROVE the quality of work at all levels of an organization through the provision of skills and
management training.
To PROVIDE and MAINTAIN a central organization for the promotion, research, entrepreneurship, work
skills and for the general development and technical advancement of the workforce the manufacturing sector.
To WORK closely with the Perak State Government, Federal Government and relevant agencies on the
implementation of Human Resources Development.
To FACILITATE the effective utilization of training resources that are available in support of operational
requirement and technological progress.
To PROMOTE skills training to prepare workforce for occupational competency.
To PROVIDE a One-stop center for corporate advisory and diagnostic services for manufacturing companies
who are Seeking to improve their operations
