Persuasive Speech On Cloning
Have you heard about the new bill coming up, if you haven't let me tell you what I think you should vote on it. I think you should vote no on the new
cloning law coming up. I think it is immoral to clone humans. I also think that we shouldn't waste taxpayer money to do it, it is morally incorrect, and
it could lead down a dark future. I think that we should completely ban cloning of humans. It isn't right to make an exact copy of someone. Especially
for medical research or to harvest him just for his parts. It sacrifices one life just to save another. That is definitely not what this country is about or
wants. Especially if they have multiple medical problems in their lifetime. Ten people could be murdered just for the safety of another. It is completely
wrong and immoral.
One reason I think it is wrong is because it is morally incorrect. You are sacrificing someone unwillingly for an other. Even if it is just an exact copy
of you are they not still human. Do they not still have a conscience and a will to live. Do they not still have emotions and feelings. Do they not still
hurt and feel pain. They are people too, and deserve every right and privilege as the next person. Not providing these rights would be unconstitutional.
Therefore cloning is unconstitutional. It goes against all the things we stand for in this country. If we all dropped dead and all that was left was clones
of ourselves, how do you think the government would treat them. You would think like people right, but if this bill passes they could have the right to
treat us all as sub–human. We could be the right to vote. We could be denied freedom of speech. We could be denied freedom of expression. All basic
rights provided in the bill of rights.
This bill is also a waste of taxpayer money. If someone wants to go and do this then they can pay for it themselves. As you may or may not know it
costs almost 100,000 dollars just to clone a pet. Imagine how much that would be for a human. And a lot of cloning end in miscarriages, death, or
deformities. Plus not everyone is going to go out and clone. This will only affect gays and people who can't make a child the natural way. The
problem is these sort of people are

As soon as you mention the word cloning, you are most likely engendering a cyclopean debate. The reason for this is because people are immensely
divided on whether or not cloning is a positive technological advance or a negative one. One way to come to any type of conclusion when it comes to
this controversial topic of discussion is to visually examine cloning from an ethical, jeopardy, and religious perspective. The rigorous authenticity
people need to realize as well as accept is, cloning is unethical, very precarious, and irreligious. An anomalous infant would be a nightmare coming
authentic. The technique is exceedingly hazardous right now. A categorical trouble is the possibility that the genetic material used from the adult will

examines her, she is optically discerning herself growing up. Unbearable sensational pressures on a teenager endeavoring to establish his or her own
individuality. What transpires to an espousement when the father optically discerns his wife's clone grow up into the exact duplicate, only by her

The thought of cloning human beings can be exciting for some but scary for others. Some people find cloning to be one the most spectacular
invention while others think it is not a great idea to clone themselves. Another issue here is that some people feel that we if we are cloning human
beings, we will be taking the role of God. What exactly does this means? Well, people who have a religious background feel that this can be stepping
out of religion boundaries because it's scientists that will be involved in the process instead of God and this is not done naturally. People have viewed
cloning is just making another human being but what about artificial insemination? "Artificial insemination have been used to create children who

But without this method a lot of women and men will not be able to have a family because of medical issues. Just like anything else that is unnatural
such as antibiotics, vaccinations, surgery, hair dye, people who are not against it feel that those who are should object to these things. Most people
think that we don't know how our child will turn out and what qualities they will have. But this is not so true anymore. Those who are creating a
child through sexual intercourse can actually find out now certain qualities of their future children. And with the IVF technology, it makes it possible
which embryo to implant after the DNA analysis is performed. "It is even possible, with preimplantation diagnosis (PID) to implant one identical
twin and freeze the other future use" (Anderson). We also are not able to predict everything that will happen with the person that is created.
Predictions can be made but it is not possible to know exactly what will happen. There was a poll that was taken by CNN, about 7% Americans
wanted to cloned. Therefore, there are people still not agreeing with

When looked up on Google i hear well spoken thoughts on you. After reading your background and what made you into who you are today made
me realize that you are a well spoken person. This letter is in regards of passing a bill on cloning. Cloning is when person is basically replicated.
This is not always the case because the experiment can also be done to animals. Pet owners choose to pay extra money to buy a pet that will be
categorized as in the "superior breed". I understand that you are a businesswoman and make decisions that will not only have an effect on you but the
U.S. I hope that you take this into consideration and let my words help make a positive impact to the communities throughout the U.S. In fact there are
two types of cloning first is therapeutic cloning, second is reproductive cloning. Not to mention both of these meet the same standards on coning. The
difference is Therapeutic cloning is done in a petri dish. Then there's reproductive cloning that is done when doctors get sperm cells and a woman's eggs
and they combine them both to make a baby then the embryo is put back into the mother's womb so the baby can get all the right nutrients as the
mother is getting. At this point they are asking donations from american tax paying dollars to fund the research for both of these experiments. I
know that therapeutic cloning is not the best candidate to give money for further research because they are bringing a life to this world without
giving it life. That is not the correct way to give a person a life. Knowing that you are christian let me know that you are for the bible and the thought
of giving a person life should come from a mother not a petri dish. Now on the other hand there are cases where people need reproductive cloning, for
example there are people who have problems reproducing and any other fertile treatment won't help. That's when reproductive cloning comes in. There
are gay and lesbian couples who want to have a child that has both of their genes, that's when reproductive cloning comes in place and helps out all
these hopeless families. Based off of what i read about You I know you're for both gays and lesbians. I noticed that when you had your speech on gay

Problem–Solution
Specific Purpose: To Persuade the audience that human cloning is dangerous.
INTRODUCTION
I. Open with Impact: Everyone here has questioned human cloning before, right?
II. Thesis Statement: Today I will entice you on the myth of human cloning and explain to you why it should be prohibited.
III. Audience Connection: Some of you may be confused about human cloning, but no worry because today I will tell you all about it.
IV. Preview: First, I will discuss the Harm. Second, the Significance. Third, the Solution, and Finally, the Call to action.
BODY
I. Main Point: Harm
Medical Issues.
According to Gary Wickman, Human cloning can give rise to certain medical issues. Technically, humangene grows older with age. It's feared that the
cloned individual would retain the age of the donor's genes. Imagine what will happen if a 40 year old gene is manifested into a newborn baby
(Wickman, 2017). The health risks involved with human cloning is something that cannot be sidelined on all accounts. There is a possibility that the
cloned individual might carry certain abnormalities, and may die sooner than the standard life expectancy.
Moral Issues.
Technological abuse is one aspect that can come into the picture once human cloning becomes a prominent feature. Imagine what a corrupt guy will do
after cloning himself. There will always be someone or the other who will try to abuse this technological advancement to the extreme. In some cases,
the clone might also turn out to

Persuasive Essay On Cloning
The idea of cloning has been widely debated on whether it should be legal or ethical a multitude of times and still hasn't reached a definite conclusion
yet. Cloning organs and stem cells though, can make, and has made, a dramatic impact on how we treat medicine today in a very good way. This is
why we must end the debates and questions on this topic and admit that cloning is legal and ethical because the amount of positives that come from this
far outway the negatives that could happen. The process is nothing short of remarkable. SCNT involves removing the nucleus from a donor egg, and is
then replaced with the DNA from the organism meant to be cloned. Scientists could potentially clone organs with SCNT by cloning embryos,
extracting the stem cells from the blastocyst, and stimulating the stem cells to differentiate into the desired organ.
This is closely related to the steps taken to clone Dolly the sheep. By successfully cloning this sheep which in no way caused any animal cruelty or
harm in the process, shows how much further we could go into the medical science of cloning. So if the cloning process of cloning Dolly the sheep did
no physical harm to the sheep, why would...show more content...
Due to the fact that we have already successfully created and cloned a sheep, we now what steps need to be taken to heighten the odds of producing a
fully functioning human organ sooner, so it would take less tries than it would've if we haven't already made an entire animal, organs and all. We
know the proper steps in the process now and have even better technology than before to help recreate the process of cloning successfully. Plus, by
attempting the replication of organs, a human would not be produced, so if the organ is a failure, which can be tested before putting it into a human
body, it would not harm an actual person or any organism because they would be able to see if it worked before the

Cloning is a growing industry of interest to some people. As technology advances, it becomes more viable for many things such as the food industry.
The cloning world receives a lot of obvious hate about whether it's morally correct or not or something that should be done, but the positives of
cloning could be positive impacts on food the industry, being able to clone your pets or various things with humans but I am here to not give it more
hate I'm here to reveal the positives of cloning and explore their ideas.
Cloning, in general, has 3 different types which can be used in a wide variety of ways. The first type of cloning is probably the type you think of

pig, and goat clones and the offspring of any animal clones are as safe as food we eat every day."(US Department of Health and Human Service) When
cloning becomes more developed it could become cheaper and allow farms so start using it if they would want to. It could allow for the meat to be

"In a Time poll, only 7% of readers said they would be interested in cloning themselves if they had the chance" (Rothman). Cloning in some ways could
be advantageous, but severities can occur such as: long term health defects, women who are more likely to encounter miscarriages, Abnormal Gene
Expression, heart complications, respiratory difficulty, aging deficiency and much more. Althoughcloning has significant health risks, it should be
legalized because of the possibility to restore endangered species, the medical benefits, and the potential to resurrect the dead.

Medical Benefits have made a purposeful movement through cloning. The discovery of stem cells made a difference in 1998 when there were more

"Rather than using sperm to fertilize an egg, genetic material from a donor's cell is used. While there are various forms of cloning, the term most
commonly refers to the somatic cell nuclear transfer method" (Pearson ). Cloning is a very prestigious procedure and it must be done correctly or
risks can start taking action. Some people know cloning can help produce body cells and bring back well–known species, but never did resurrecting the
dead be one of them.
"Therapeutic cloning seeks to reproduce cells and could some day be used to grow organs or even possibly replacement limbs" (Pearson).
Different stories have appeared about deceased being able to have a second life through other living cells. Stories about cloning John Lennon's
DNA is truly satisfying: A Canadian dentist Dr. Michael Zuk was granted the right to genetically modify and raise the official John Lennon's
molars as baby clones. Zuk was able to purchase Lennon's molars for $33,000 at an auction. More updates about Zuk's success are still to be
determined (Bleier). The process of cloning humans specifically deceased takes a lot more time and effort to get the calculations success rate correct.
"Human cloning seeks to reproduce people, and is a much more complex process" (Mason). Though, cloning the deceased has not come back positive,
scientist and researchers are still trying to find a way for

I am a 16 year old student who turns 17 in March and I go to Dinuba High. It's not to a huge school and it's not too small of school either it's in
between the school which makes it a good size school. At this school in my english class we are learning about cloning and how some people believe
it's a great amazing tool we can use and how others think it's a horrible thing and that it takes the meaning of life away. So I am writing to inform you
about cloning and how it can benefit us in many ways. Allowing cloning in the United States would put us way ahead than other countries and we'll
be able to save many lives, then we'll have other countries coming to us asking how we do it or to come clone this for them which would really help
us financially because they'd obviously have to pay us to know these things or to borrow a machine. By the end of this letter you'll be convinced that
cloning is a great thing that will help make not only our country but the world a better place.
As I've stated before human cloning can help us in many ways and one of these ways is that cloning would actually allow a lesbian to have a kid
without donor sperm. I found this out in an article I read titled, "Arguments for and Against creating human clones." This article states, "Human cloning
would allow lesbians to have a child without having to use a donor sperm." Imagine that think about how happy the LGBT community would be if we
allowed this to happen. Their kid would now actually look

Now that we are advancing in technology very rapidly, people are starting to wonder if it would be beneficial to clone humans. Some people say
that you can literally save a person's life and create an exact replica of person by cloning. But some people say it's not humane and it would be
weird if there is 2 of the exact same person in the world. People are also concerned because nobody knows how these clones will act. We don't know
if the host will be harmed and we also don't know if the clones will become evil and destroy the world. I believe that we shouldn't clone humans simply
because we don't have enough information on cloning. In the process of cloning humans we would have to manipulate embryos. This could result in the

Even though they gave money to all the woman with the side effects, it is not worth putting a woman in a permanent state just to try and clone a human.
Woman of lower economic means will most likely do this out of desperation for money and end up becoming infertile. I feel that if a person wants to
be cloned than they should have to pay for the eggs that they have to extract from a female, not have some random woman give them eggs and risk
their fertility just so someone can be cloned.
Some people actually say that we can benefit from cloning. Scientists think that we can clone "geniuses" and advance in society (Utah Genetics).
This brings up a very good point. What if we can clone 5 Albert Einsteins?! What if we clone all of the smartest minds to ever exist. Can we cure
cancer? I think we can! Maybe we can even stop ebola. Lots of people are seriously thinking about this and how beneficial it would be. But some
people can take this out of hand. Some scientists are considering making "human farms" where clones are made and their only purpose is to kill
them and take their organs to sell. This is why cloning should not be easily accessible. Some freaky scientists are actually considering this idea. We
need to be smarter, we need to be consistent , and we need to keep an eye out for these crazy scientists. And God knows what other crazy idea they
have inside their heads. But many people think that cloning can be beneficial to society if it is used

Cloning What is Cloning? Why should we clone humans? Cloning is the process of taking a person genetic code and duplicating it. Cloning today only
involves animals but not humans. There has been records of scientists trying to figure out how to clone humans while experimenting with animals. I
think Cloning humans should be thing because it could save people's lives if needed for a organ transplant or just needing blood. But people may not
agree on cloning since scientists have also proven death has happen many times when the cloning process has finished. Why should we clone humans?
The first reason why cloning humans should be a thing is because of the supply of organs for the organ transplants that people need. In the article

Persuasive Essay On Cloning
The term "Cloning" has, over time, come to encompass a number of sciences and biotechnologies that have emerged from technology developed
while aiming for the main and original goal of cloning itself, ie "to propagate as a clone" or "to make an identical copy" of a living organism, which
is the actual definition of cloning per se. The main cloning technologies can be put into three categories, Reproductive, Therapeutic and Genetic cloning.
The issues of whether or not cloning is ethical, safe or even actually possible are hotly debated in the scientific, political and religious communities.
The amount of debate that has taken place and regulation placed on the scientific community around cloning is so great, it's a testimony to the level of
impact this biotechnology has on society, all in spite of the fact that it's still not known whether or not the most feared type of cloning, Human
Reproductive Cloning, is actually possible.
There's a perception that, within some of the more radical religious circles, a cloned human, should this ever actually be possible, would be considered
to be a "lesser" human than one that is naturally reproduced. The idea too, that a human created outside of the natural processes of reproduction would
be considered an "abomination"...show more content...
The lack of a "soul" makes the question of religious ethics slightly easier to deal with, but the fear the wider community has of "Frankenstein"
creations concocted in labs by irresponsible scientists, causing long–lasting damage to the environment or future species is also something that has to
be taken into consideration with all research and experiments performed. Any number of blockbuster films based on the genre goes some way to
gauging the way the imaginations of people have perceived this science and it's possible negative

There are some people that have been very anxious with cloning because they believe it is something new, but in reality it was introduced in the
1950s. It started with cloning food and has moved onto cloning animals. It has been successful on many different cases and a famous one is the
cloning of a sheep named Dolly. Dolly lived to be six and a half years old and she had six kids. People believe that cloning should be illegal but we
believe that scientists should clone endangered or extinct species in order to preserve them, here's why. We should clone endangered and extinct
animals because they can help cure diseases that we don't know how to do today or that we don't have the ability to do today. It is a good idea to

Imagine a boy walking down a street just like every other day, and then he sees a boy who looks exactly like him, no differences at all. In today's
modern technology World it's called Cloning. Cloning is a very big topic that seems to be getting more attention from the people. It hasn't been used
that much due to lack of knowledge and lack of research. That's why only animals have been tested and not humans. Cloning should not be allowed
because terrible things may happen which could lead to bad events happening and doesn't benefit nobody. Cloning in the future would change the
society in a negative way, and if its goes wrong then people could get injured, so no cloning shouldn't be acceptable.
Cloning hasn't gotten very far when it comes to successful experiments. And one of the reasons behind it is usually the outcome doesn't come out like
they expected it to. They have tried finding new formulas and new techniques to improvise in cloning but it's very difficult. As it says in an article, "
they take DNA from two distinct individuals and shuffle and join it so that it becomes the unique genetic code for a third, distinct individual." It's very
advanced and difficult to comprehend, and all this of course costs money. Back in 2002 when President Bush heard this idea he thought it was absurd
and banned cloning. It's a very powerful topic that can lead to many things happening but the...show more content...

Recently there has been a bill that would allow the use of taxpayers money to fund both therapeutic and reproductive cloning research of all
humans and animals. Many people have suffered accidental medical tragedies during their lifetime. Read about a girl who needs a kidney, a burn
victim, a man who lost his leg due to cancer. All of these victims favor cloning and want science to proceed. This is why I want you, Andy Vidak to
vote yes on the bill for cloning. Cloning really does help those people who suffered from medical tragedies. Cloning can change many lives, if we do
proceed, cloning may be able to cure cancer if cloning if cloning leads to a better understanding of cell differentiation. Rumors say cloning may also
lead to a cure for heart attacks, a revolution in cosmetic surgery, organs for organ transplantation, and predictions abound about how cloning
technology will save thousands of lives. Many can benefit from this bill and will save many lives. In result people are willing to let cloning
continue for those who really need it. There are many reasons on why you should vote yes on cloning. For example, there is a couple who have
been married for over four years and decide they really want to have a baby together. After one whole year this couple simply cannot have a baby on
their own. This is where cloning comes in to help this couple in need. Human cloning provides genetically related children for those who cannot be
helped by other fertility treatments. Couples who can not produce eggs or sperm favor human cloning or even parents of a child who has died
seek redress for their loss look at human cloning for help. Cloning is able to help parents who cannot have a baby, have one.cloning is not just used
for curing diseases but can also cure someone who has has been depressed because they cannot have a child of their own or they have lost a loved
one to soon. Cloning can help people in many different ways. Another good reason why you should vote yes on the bill for cloning. Cloning can also
make a person's lifetime much longer than usual. Humans cloning essentially means taking a human beings DNA and reserving its age back to zero.
This means with the power of cloning people have the ability to

controversial and rather sensitive topic, cloning is an innovative practice that has the potential to vastly improve the lives of unlimited amounts of

Individuals who are afflicted by these diseases die, often within their first four years of life. There is no viable reason why children should not have
the chance to lead full and happy lives, with the help of cloning technology that reality could be achieved. Those opposed to the practice of human
cloning argue that it is unnatural to create a living being for the sole purpose of study and science. This is really not the case at all; while some may
be asked to participate in experiments for the betterment of humanity they are not painful or impractical procedures and will only involve taking DNA
samples with little or no inconvenience inflicted upon the subject. Besides occasional testing, cloned humans would certainly be able to live normal
lives. The fact being that the only difference between them and a regular human is the sequence of their genetic code. Another supplementary
argument can be made on the topic of medical advancements made possible through the cloning process, mankind will be provided with organs and
cells with which human's lives will be saved. If a person needs an organ transplant the normal means of transplantation would involve the removal of
an organ from another person. This organ could be rejected and many complications could arise, often with deadly repercussions. Human cloning
would involve using the person's own cells that could be cloned to produce a healthy, normal organ for use in the person. Through this process, there

Human cloning has the potential to cure cancer, replace organs, eliminate infertility, and significantly increase recovery time for patients who have
experienced traumatic events. Despite all these groundbreaking benefits, human cloning has not been applied to the medical world. Human cloning has
failed to be accepted, because of the ethical issues it presents. Human cloning brings up the issue of religion and whether or not it is allowed throughout
different practices. It asks questions such as, do clones have souls, is cloning equivalent to immortality, will it be costly, is it guaranteed to produce
results. While the benefits of human cloning are revolutionary, the side–effects can be damaging.
While human cloning can be a very broad topic, it is easy to separate it into two groups: therapeutic human cloning, and reproductive human cloning.
Reproductive human cloning is most common of the two. Everyone's mind immediately goes to Dolly the sheep. In 1996, Dolly became the first
mammal to be cloned from an adult somatic cell (Pros). After the cloning of Dolly, cloning humans was the next logical step. The basic process of
reproductive cloning for animals and humans is essentially the same. It begins with extracting the subjects DNA...show more content...
The positive effects of human cloning could change the world of medicine, but human cloning is not yet guaranteed. One of the major issues with
therapeutic cloning, and reproductive cloning for that matter, is the cost. It could be too expensive for the average man to pay for cloning his heart or

cloning before actually using it on patients. There is a lot of room for

Persuasive Essay About Cloning
The idea of cloning has been around for a long time. The possible benefits it could bring to both mankind and other life on Earth. However, the
morality and ethics of doing just this have only more recently filter to the surface. How can cloning help or hurt?
Cloning is by itself a straightforward scientific process it is only when you add the Human element that it gets complicated. By default man believes
in a god or higher power and the act of man creating life is seen by some as an attempt to play god. Some people may also have other questions such
as who would, in theory, own the cloned life, or is the clone really any different from the real thing.Cloning is questioned because it redefines the
relationship between man, god, and life. There can be many arguments made for or against cloning with many of them starting with a few central
questions is it okay for man to play god? Should we mess with life? When do we stop?...show more content...
The answer is a definitive yes. Cloning can be used in many ways but some of the better ways are via the medical field. Take organs for instance.
Today people wait years sometimes for a transplant only to then need drugs to prevent rejection of the new organ. Cloning solves this problem as a
new organ exactly like the original could be made to replace the defective organ. This could not only save lives but lower costs. Another possible use
of cloning is the preservation of life. Today there are countless animal and plant species that are on the edge of extinction. With cloning, it would be

many studies saying that cloning is a bad this because anything can go wrong. You can end up making a mistake and killing the original. Why clone if
it's going to die in a couple years after.
Cloning has not yet been perfected and problems are likely to occur. Genetic abnormalities and diseases within the clone are known to happen through
experimentation. When cloning becomes successful, the life span is still shortened. There's no point in cloning since scientists really don't have a

There is no diversity in human cloning. If cloning occurs successfully,

Persuasive Speech On Cloning Is Dangerous

  • 1. Persuasive Speech On Cloning Have you heard about the new bill coming up, if you haven't let me tell you what I think you should vote on it. I think you should vote no on the new cloning law coming up. I think it is immoral to clone humans. I also think that we shouldn't waste taxpayer money to do it, it is morally incorrect, and it could lead down a dark future. I think that we should completely ban cloning of humans. It isn't right to make an exact copy of someone. Especially for medical research or to harvest him just for his parts. It sacrifices one life just to save another. That is definitely not what this country is about or wants. Especially if they have multiple medical problems in their lifetime. Ten people could be murdered just for the safety of another. It is completely wrong and immoral. One reason I think it is wrong is because it is morally incorrect. You are sacrificing someone unwillingly for an other. Even if it is just an exact copy of you are they not still human. Do they not still have a conscience and a will to live. Do they not still have emotions and feelings. Do they not still hurt and feel pain. They are people too, and deserve every right and privilege as the next person. Not providing these rights would be unconstitutional. Therefore cloning is unconstitutional. It goes against all the things we stand for in this country. If we all dropped dead and all that was left was clones of ourselves, how do you think the government would treat them. You would think like people right, but if this bill passes they could have the right to treat us all as sub–human. We could be the right to vote. We could be denied freedom of speech. We could be denied freedom of expression. All basic rights provided in the bill of rights. This bill is also a waste of taxpayer money. If someone wants to go and do this then they can pay for it themselves. As you may or may not know it costs almost 100,000 dollars just to clone a pet. Imagine how much that would be for a human. And a lot of cloning end in miscarriages, death, or deformities. Plus not everyone is going to go out and clone. This will only affect gays and people who can't make a child the natural way. The problem is these sort of people are Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Persuasive Essay On Cloning As soon as you mention the word cloning, you are most likely engendering a cyclopean debate. The reason for this is because people are immensely divided on whether or not cloning is a positive technological advance or a negative one. One way to come to any type of conclusion when it comes to this controversial topic of discussion is to visually examine cloning from an ethical, jeopardy, and religious perspective. The rigorous authenticity people need to realize as well as accept is, cloning is unethical, very precarious, and irreligious. An anomalous infant would be a nightmare coming authentic. The technique is exceedingly hazardous right now. A categorical trouble is the possibility that the genetic material used from the adult will proceed...show more content... A child grows up kenning her mother is her sister, and her grandmother is her mother. Her father is her brother–in–law. Every time her mother visually examines her, she is optically discerning herself growing up. Unbearable sensational pressures on a teenager endeavoring to establish his or her own individuality. What transpires to an espousement when the father optically discerns his wife's clone grow up into the exact duplicate, only by her outside appearance, of the gorgeous 18 year old he fell in love with 35 years ago? A sexual relationship would of course be with his wife's twin, no incest involved technically but still relegated as Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Persuasive Essay On Cloning The thought of cloning human beings can be exciting for some but scary for others. Some people find cloning to be one the most spectacular invention while others think it is not a great idea to clone themselves. Another issue here is that some people feel that we if we are cloning human beings, we will be taking the role of God. What exactly does this means? Well, people who have a religious background feel that this can be stepping out of religion boundaries because it's scientists that will be involved in the process instead of God and this is not done naturally. People have viewed cloning is just making another human being but what about artificial insemination? "Artificial insemination have been used to create children who would not have existed without help or interference of modern science"...show more content... But without this method a lot of women and men will not be able to have a family because of medical issues. Just like anything else that is unnatural such as antibiotics, vaccinations, surgery, hair dye, people who are not against it feel that those who are should object to these things. Most people think that we don't know how our child will turn out and what qualities they will have. But this is not so true anymore. Those who are creating a child through sexual intercourse can actually find out now certain qualities of their future children. And with the IVF technology, it makes it possible which embryo to implant after the DNA analysis is performed. "It is even possible, with preimplantation diagnosis (PID) to implant one identical twin and freeze the other future use" (Anderson). We also are not able to predict everything that will happen with the person that is created. Predictions can be made but it is not possible to know exactly what will happen. There was a poll that was taken by CNN, about 7% Americans wanted to cloned. Therefore, there are people still not agreeing with Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Persuasive Speech On Cloning When looked up on Google i hear well spoken thoughts on you. After reading your background and what made you into who you are today made me realize that you are a well spoken person. This letter is in regards of passing a bill on cloning. Cloning is when person is basically replicated. This is not always the case because the experiment can also be done to animals. Pet owners choose to pay extra money to buy a pet that will be categorized as in the "superior breed". I understand that you are a businesswoman and make decisions that will not only have an effect on you but the U.S. I hope that you take this into consideration and let my words help make a positive impact to the communities throughout the U.S. In fact there are two types of cloning first is therapeutic cloning, second is reproductive cloning. Not to mention both of these meet the same standards on coning. The difference is Therapeutic cloning is done in a petri dish. Then there's reproductive cloning that is done when doctors get sperm cells and a woman's eggs and they combine them both to make a baby then the embryo is put back into the mother's womb so the baby can get all the right nutrients as the mother is getting. At this point they are asking donations from american tax paying dollars to fund the research for both of these experiments. I know that therapeutic cloning is not the best candidate to give money for further research because they are bringing a life to this world without giving it life. That is not the correct way to give a person a life. Knowing that you are christian let me know that you are for the bible and the thought of giving a person life should come from a mother not a petri dish. Now on the other hand there are cases where people need reproductive cloning, for example there are people who have problems reproducing and any other fertile treatment won't help. That's when reproductive cloning comes in. There are gay and lesbian couples who want to have a child that has both of their genes, that's when reproductive cloning comes in place and helps out all these hopeless families. Based off of what i read about You I know you're for both gays and lesbians. I noticed that when you had your speech on gay marriage making a Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Persuasive Speech On Cloning Problem–Solution Specific Purpose: To Persuade the audience that human cloning is dangerous. INTRODUCTION I. BODY I. Main Point: Harm Medical Issues. According to Gary Wickman, Human cloning can give rise to certain medical issues. Technically, humangene grows older with age. It's feared that the cloned individual would retain the age of the donor's genes. Imagine what will happen if a 40 year old gene is manifested into a newborn baby (Wickman, 2017). The health risks involved with human cloning is something that cannot be sidelined on all accounts. There is a possibility that the cloned individual might carry certain abnormalities, and may die sooner than the standard life expectancy. Moral Issues. Technological abuse is one aspect that can come into the picture once human cloning becomes a prominent feature. Imagine what a corrupt guy will do after cloning himself. There will always be someone or the other who will try to abuse this technological advancement to the extreme. In some cases, the clone might also turn out to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Persuasive Essay On Cloning The idea of cloning has been widely debated on whether it should be legal or ethical a multitude of times and still hasn't reached a definite conclusion yet. Cloning organs and stem cells though, can make, and has made, a dramatic impact on how we treat medicine today in a very good way. This is why we must end the debates and questions on this topic and admit that cloning is legal and ethical because the amount of positives that come from this far outway the negatives that could happen. The process is nothing short of remarkable. SCNT involves removing the nucleus from a donor egg, and is then replaced with the DNA from the organism meant to be cloned. Scientists could potentially clone organs with SCNT by cloning embryos, extracting the stem cells from the blastocyst, and stimulating the stem cells to differentiate into the desired organ. This is closely related to the steps taken to clone Dolly the sheep. By successfully cloning this sheep which in no way caused any animal cruelty or harm in the process, shows how much further we could go into the medical science of cloning. So if the cloning process of cloning Dolly the sheep did no physical harm to the sheep, why would...show more content... Due to the fact that we have already successfully created and cloned a sheep, we now what steps need to be taken to heighten the odds of producing a fully functioning human organ sooner, so it would take less tries than it would've if we haven't already made an entire animal, organs and all. We know the proper steps in the process now and have even better technology than before to help recreate the process of cloning successfully. Plus, by attempting the replication of organs, a human would not be produced, so if the organ is a failure, which can be tested before putting it into a human body, it would not harm an actual person or any organism because they would be able to see if it worked before the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Cloning Persuasive Essay Cloning is a growing industry of interest to some people. As technology advances, it becomes more viable for many things such as the food industry. The cloning world receives a lot of obvious hate about whether it's morally correct or not or something that should be done, but the positives of cloning could be positive impacts on food the industry, being able to clone your pets or various things with humans but I am here to not give it more hate I'm here to reveal the positives of cloning and explore their ideas. Cloning, in general, has 3 different types which can be used in a wide variety of ways. The first type of cloning is probably the type you think of when you hear the word cloning it is reproductive cloning. It is where you take the genes of an animal from the nucleus of an animal you want to clone and you replace insert it into an empty fertilized egg nucleus, then you wait for the animal to be born....show more content... Since then, FDA has conducted an intensive evaluation that included examining the safety of food from these animals and the risk to animal health. Based on a final risk assessment, a report written by FDA scientists and issued in January 2008, FDA has concluded that meat and milk from a cow, pig, and goat clones and the offspring of any animal clones are as safe as food we eat every day."(US Department of Health and Human Service) When cloning becomes more developed it could become cheaper and allow farms so start using it if they would want to. It could allow for the meat to be made cheaper since they could the finer specimens of animals could be cloned. Along with the finer specimens being able to be cloned, it could allow them to be more immune to disease because of gene cloning and genetic Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. Persuasive Essay Cloning "In a Time poll, only 7% of readers said they would be interested in cloning themselves if they had the chance" (Rothman). Cloning in some ways could be advantageous, but severities can occur such as: long term health defects, women who are more likely to encounter miscarriages, Abnormal Gene Expression, heart complications, respiratory difficulty, aging deficiency and much more. Althoughcloning has significant health risks, it should be legalized because of the possibility to restore endangered species, the medical benefits, and the potential to resurrect the dead. Point#1 Medical Benefits have made a purposeful movement through cloning. The discovery of stem cells made a difference in 1998 when there were more options for treatments...show more content... "Rather than using sperm to fertilize an egg, genetic material from a donor's cell is used. While there are various forms of cloning, the term most commonly refers to the somatic cell nuclear transfer method" (Pearson ). Cloning is a very prestigious procedure and it must be done correctly or risks can start taking action. Some people know cloning can help produce body cells and bring back well–known species, but never did resurrecting the dead be one of them. "Therapeutic cloning seeks to reproduce cells and could some day be used to grow organs or even possibly replacement limbs" (Pearson). Different stories have appeared about deceased being able to have a second life through other living cells. Stories about cloning John Lennon's DNA is truly satisfying: A Canadian dentist Dr. Michael Zuk was granted the right to genetically modify and raise the official John Lennon's molars as baby clones. Zuk was able to purchase Lennon's molars for $33,000 at an auction. More updates about Zuk's success are still to be determined (Bleier). The process of cloning humans specifically deceased takes a lot more time and effort to get the calculations success rate correct. "Human cloning seeks to reproduce people, and is a much more complex process" (Mason). Though, cloning the deceased has not come back positive, scientist and researchers are still trying to find a way for Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. Persuasive Essay On Cloning I am a 16 year old student who turns 17 in March and I go to Dinuba High. It's not to a huge school and it's not too small of school either it's in between the school which makes it a good size school. At this school in my english class we are learning about cloning and how some people believe it's a great amazing tool we can use and how others think it's a horrible thing and that it takes the meaning of life away. So I am writing to inform you about cloning and how it can benefit us in many ways. Allowing cloning in the United States would put us way ahead than other countries and we'll be able to save many lives, then we'll have other countries coming to us asking how we do it or to come clone this for them which would really help us financially because they'd obviously have to pay us to know these things or to borrow a machine. By the end of this letter you'll be convinced that cloning is a great thing that will help make not only our country but the world a better place. As I've stated before human cloning can help us in many ways and one of these ways is that cloning would actually allow a lesbian to have a kid without donor sperm. I found this out in an article I read titled, "Arguments for and Against creating human clones." This article states, "Human cloning would allow lesbians to have a child without having to use a donor sperm." Imagine that think about how happy the LGBT community would be if we allowed this to happen. Their kid would now actually look Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. Persuasive Essay On Cloning Now that we are advancing in technology very rapidly, people are starting to wonder if it would be beneficial to clone humans. Some people say that you can literally save a person's life and create an exact replica of person by cloning. But some people say it's not humane and it would be weird if there is 2 of the exact same person in the world. People are also concerned because nobody knows how these clones will act. We don't know if the host will be harmed and we also don't know if the clones will become evil and destroy the world. I believe that we shouldn't clone humans simply because we don't have enough information on cloning. In the process of cloning humans we would have to manipulate embryos. This could result in the destruction...show more content... Even though they gave money to all the woman with the side effects, it is not worth putting a woman in a permanent state just to try and clone a human. Woman of lower economic means will most likely do this out of desperation for money and end up becoming infertile. I feel that if a person wants to be cloned than they should have to pay for the eggs that they have to extract from a female, not have some random woman give them eggs and risk their fertility just so someone can be cloned. Some people actually say that we can benefit from cloning. Scientists think that we can clone "geniuses" and advance in society (Utah Genetics). This brings up a very good point. What if we can clone 5 Albert Einsteins?! What if we clone all of the smartest minds to ever exist. Can we cure cancer? I think we can! Maybe we can even stop ebola. Lots of people are seriously thinking about this and how beneficial it would be. But some people can take this out of hand. Some scientists are considering making "human farms" where clones are made and their only purpose is to kill them and take their organs to sell. This is why cloning should not be easily accessible. Some freaky scientists are actually considering this idea. We need to be smarter, we need to be consistent , and we need to keep an eye out for these crazy scientists. And God knows what other crazy idea they have inside their heads. But many people think that cloning can be beneficial to society if it is used Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. Persuasive Essay On Cloning Cloning What is Cloning? Why should we clone humans? Cloning is the process of taking a person genetic code and duplicating it. Cloning today only involves animals but not humans. There has been records of scientists trying to figure out how to clone humans while experimenting with animals. I think Cloning humans should be thing because it could save people's lives if needed for a organ transplant or just needing blood. But people may not agree on cloning since scientists have also proven death has happen many times when the cloning process has finished. Why should we clone humans? The first reason why cloning humans should be a thing is because of the supply of organs for the organ transplants that people need. In the article Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Persuasive Essay On Cloning The term "Cloning" has, over time, come to encompass a number of sciences and biotechnologies that have emerged from technology developed while aiming for the main and original goal of cloning itself, ie "to propagate as a clone" or "to make an identical copy" of a living organism, which is the actual definition of cloning per se. The main cloning technologies can be put into three categories, Reproductive, Therapeutic and Genetic cloning. The issues of whether or not cloning is ethical, safe or even actually possible are hotly debated in the scientific, political and religious communities. The amount of debate that has taken place and regulation placed on the scientific community around cloning is so great, it's a testimony to the level of impact this biotechnology has on society, all in spite of the fact that it's still not known whether or not the most feared type of cloning, Human Reproductive Cloning, is actually possible. There's a perception that, within some of the more radical religious circles, a cloned human, should this ever actually be possible, would be considered to be a "lesser" human than one that is naturally reproduced. The idea too, that a human created outside of the natural processes of reproduction would be considered an "abomination"...show more content... The lack of a "soul" makes the question of religious ethics slightly easier to deal with, but the fear the wider community has of "Frankenstein" creations concocted in labs by irresponsible scientists, causing long–lasting damage to the environment or future species is also something that has to be taken into consideration with all research and experiments performed. Any number of blockbuster films based on the genre goes some way to gauging the way the imaginations of people have perceived this science and it's possible negative Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. Persuasive Essay On Cloning Animals There are some people that have been very anxious with cloning because they believe it is something new, but in reality it was introduced in the 1950s. It started with cloning food and has moved onto cloning animals. It has been successful on many different cases and a famous one is the cloning of a sheep named Dolly. Dolly lived to be six and a half years old and she had six kids. People believe that cloning should be illegal but we believe that scientists should clone endangered or extinct species in order to preserve them, here's why. We should clone endangered and extinct animals because they can help cure diseases that we don't know how to do today or that we don't have the ability to do today. It is a good idea to clone animals because...show more content... Animals like mice have been successfully cloned and will more than likely facilitate the discovery for new treatments for human disease. Therefore by cloning animals like mice and then them getting a human disease scientist will be able to do test and research on the disease that the animal has and they can then try and find a cure for the disease and if it works on the animals it would work on humans. Also if you clone maybe 100 mice and they have different diseases you can find different cures for all of those diseases. Now my partner is going to talk about the cons on cloning and explain why the cons are Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 14. Cloning Persuasive Research Paper Imagine a boy walking down a street just like every other day, and then he sees a boy who looks exactly like him, no differences at all. In today's modern technology World it's called Cloning. Cloning is a very big topic that seems to be getting more attention from the people. It hasn't been used that much due to lack of knowledge and lack of research. That's why only animals have been tested and not humans. Cloning should not be allowed because terrible things may happen which could lead to bad events happening and doesn't benefit nobody. Cloning in the future would change the society in a negative way, and if its goes wrong then people could get injured, so no cloning shouldn't be acceptable. Cloning hasn't gotten very far when it comes to successful experiments. And one of the reasons behind it is usually the outcome doesn't come out like they expected it to. They have tried finding new formulas and new techniques to improvise in cloning but it's very difficult. As it says in an article, " they take DNA from two distinct individuals and shuffle and join it so that it becomes the unique genetic code for a third, distinct individual." It's very advanced and difficult to comprehend, and all this of course costs money. Back in 2002 when President Bush heard this idea he thought it was absurd and banned cloning. It's a very powerful topic that can lead to many things happening but the...show more content... The topic got famous when dolly the sheep was successfully cloned. And that's what pretty much launched this idea in the air so that countries could see what is capable. Also cloning can happen naturally in forests, jungles, and more places. Plants are cloned through a certain a process and another type of natural cloning is babies. For example, if babies are born and they are twin then they are genetically alike and pretty much Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. Persuasive Essay On Cloning Recently there has been a bill that would allow the use of taxpayers money to fund both therapeutic and reproductive cloning research of all humans and animals. Many people have suffered accidental medical tragedies during their lifetime. Read about a girl who needs a kidney, a burn victim, a man who lost his leg due to cancer. All of these victims favor cloning and want science to proceed. This is why I want you, Andy Vidak to vote yes on the bill for cloning. Cloning really does help those people who suffered from medical tragedies. Cloning can change many lives, if we do proceed, cloning may be able to cure cancer if cloning if cloning leads to a better understanding of cell differentiation. Rumors say cloning may also lead to a cure for heart attacks, a revolution in cosmetic surgery, organs for organ transplantation, and predictions abound about how cloning technology will save thousands of lives. Many can benefit from this bill and will save many lives. In result people are willing to let cloning continue for those who really need it. There are many reasons on why you should vote yes on cloning. For example, there is a couple who have been married for over four years and decide they really want to have a baby together. After one whole year this couple simply cannot have a baby on their own. This is where cloning comes in to help this couple in need. Human cloning provides genetically related children for those who cannot be helped by other fertility treatments. Couples who can not produce eggs or sperm favor human cloning or even parents of a child who has died seek redress for their loss look at human cloning for help. Cloning is able to help parents who cannot have a baby, have one.cloning is not just used for curing diseases but can also cure someone who has has been depressed because they cannot have a child of their own or they have lost a loved one to soon. Cloning can help people in many different ways. Another good reason why you should vote yes on the bill for cloning. Cloning can also make a person's lifetime much longer than usual. Humans cloning essentially means taking a human beings DNA and reserving its age back to zero. This means with the power of cloning people have the ability to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. Cloning Persuasive Essay What was once thought to be the content of fiction novels and comic books is now being fully explored and realized in the cutting edge world of modern science. Scientists now possess the necessary capabilities and technology to make the process of human cloning a reality. While this is a controversial and rather sensitive topic, cloning is an innovative practice that has the potential to vastly improve the lives of unlimited amounts of people. Although cloning may prove to be a useful remedy for many of today's issues, there are those in the scientific and medical fields who remain vehemently opposed to its practice. It is for this reason that lawmakers, scientists, and doctors around the world are currently locked in a fierce standoff ...show more content... Individuals who are afflicted by these diseases die, often within their first four years of life. There is no viable reason why children should not have the chance to lead full and happy lives, with the help of cloning technology that reality could be achieved. Those opposed to the practice of human cloning argue that it is unnatural to create a living being for the sole purpose of study and science. This is really not the case at all; while some may be asked to participate in experiments for the betterment of humanity they are not painful or impractical procedures and will only involve taking DNA samples with little or no inconvenience inflicted upon the subject. Besides occasional testing, cloned humans would certainly be able to live normal lives. The fact being that the only difference between them and a regular human is the sequence of their genetic code. Another supplementary argument can be made on the topic of medical advancements made possible through the cloning process, mankind will be provided with organs and cells with which human's lives will be saved. If a person needs an organ transplant the normal means of transplantation would involve the removal of an organ from another person. This organ could be rejected and many complications could arise, often with deadly repercussions. Human cloning would involve using the person's own cells that could be cloned to produce a healthy, normal organ for use in the person. Through this process, there would be no Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. Human Cloning Persuasive Essay Human cloning has the potential to cure cancer, replace organs, eliminate infertility, and significantly increase recovery time for patients who have experienced traumatic events. Despite all these groundbreaking benefits, human cloning has not been applied to the medical world. Human cloning has failed to be accepted, because of the ethical issues it presents. Human cloning brings up the issue of religion and whether or not it is allowed throughout different practices. It asks questions such as, do clones have souls, is cloning equivalent to immortality, will it be costly, is it guaranteed to produce results. In 1996, Dolly became the first mammal to be cloned from an adult somatic cell (Pros). After the cloning of Dolly, cloning humans was the next logical step. The basic process of reproductive cloning for animals and humans is essentially the same. It begins with extracting the subjects DNA...show more content... The positive effects of human cloning could change the world of medicine, but human cloning is not yet guaranteed. One of the major issues with therapeutic cloning, and reproductive cloning for that matter, is the cost. It could be too expensive for the average man to pay for cloning his heart or curing his daughter's leukemia. While cost is extremely important, the quality of cloning must be excellent. Scientists and researchers must perfect cloning before actually using it on patients. There is a lot of room for Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 18. Persuasive Essay About Cloning The idea of cloning has been around for a long time. The possible benefits it could bring to both mankind and other life on Earth. However, the morality and ethics of doing just this have only more recently filter to the surface. How can cloning help or hurt? Cloning is by itself a straightforward scientific process it is only when you add the Human element that it gets complicated. By default man believes in a god or higher power and the act of man creating life is seen by some as an attempt to play god. Some people may also have other questions such as who would, in theory, own the cloned life, or is the clone really any different from the real thing.Cloning is questioned because it redefines the relationship between man, god, and life. There can be many arguments made for or against cloning with many of them starting with a few central questions is it okay for man to play god? Should we mess with life? When do we stop?...show more content... The answer is a definitive yes. Cloning can be used in many ways but some of the better ways are via the medical field. Take organs for instance. Today people wait years sometimes for a transplant only to then need drugs to prevent rejection of the new organ. Cloning solves this problem as a new organ exactly like the original could be made to replace the defective organ. This could not only save lives but lower costs. Another possible use of cloning is the preservation of life. Today there are countless animal and plant species that are on the edge of extinction. With cloning, it would be possible to make copies of each many times possible saving the species from Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 19. Cloning Persuasive Essay Why would you want a duplicate when you can have the perfect original? Why would you want clone somebody it's very irrelevant. There has been many studies saying that cloning is a bad this because anything can go wrong. You can end up making a mistake and killing the original. Why clone if it's going to die in a couple years after. Cloning has not yet been perfected and problems are likely to occur. Genetic abnormalities and diseases within the clone are known to happen through experimentation. When cloning becomes successful, the life span is still shortened. There's no point in cloning since scientists really don't have a handle on the right way to deal with genes. There is no diversity in human cloning. If cloning occurs successfully, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
