The onlytime I’ve evercome close tohandinginbelow expectedwork wasduringlockdownfor
COVID-19,and eventhenIstill gota meritinmy firstyear.I’mproud of myself fornotgivingup

classneverlearntthe theorypart of the GCSE due to timingissues,sowe hadtoteach itto

Last year increative mediaIexperimentedwithgraphics,filmandanimation,completingall toa
goodstandard. I learnedhowtouse PhotoshopandAuditioneffectively,andIknow how to use both
Adobe PremierandSonyVegasefficiently.ThisshowsIcanadjustand learnnew skillsquitequickly,
as I was completelyunfamilliarwithAdobe programmesbeforelastyear. Ihave alsobeenlearning
the more tediousside of the course,coursework,andimrpovingonhow Ipresentmyideas. Ihave
become more specialisedinthe subjectandnow know more abouthow to achieve highergrades
throughboth productionandwrittenwork.Forthisyear,I wantto again focusonfilm/graphics,like
producinga shortfilmandmakingartwork togo along side it.ThisincorporatestwothingsthatI am
bothgood at, andenjoy.Iwant the workto include linkstofeminisminamodernsociety,asthe

As a youngwomenina mostlymale stereotypedindustry, Iwanttouse my platformtospeakup and
make sure I’m takenseriously,wetherthat’satjobinterviewsordayto day work.I am extremely
capable,andI want to prove that throughwhat I do andmake,and I am preparedtowork forit.
Ideally,I’dwantajob ineithergraphicsorfilm.I’dlove tobe a scriptwritersome day,or a concept
artistfor games or filmcharacters.ThismeansI’ll mostlikely have toworkmywayup frombeingan
intern,butI firmlybelieve I’mgoodenoughto doit fora decentjob,if nothigher. AftereducationI
