One of the most interested ideas to me is (Healthier Communities) it's an important idea to write about especially now a days. A healthy community is defined by the ability of it's people to undertake their daily activities without diseases. And a healthy community attract outsiders like tourists. There are social and cultural factors like tradition, politics, beliefs, socioeconomic status, social norms and the economy. I will get into each one of these in details in my research paper.

Introduction: Ethics and leadership in community organizations
Last week, we spent time examining the connection of a community-based organization to its stakeholders, including its constituents. We discussed barriers organizations might face when trying to reach its stakeholders, and then also thought about diversity and its role in these organizations, both with outreach and with hiring and leadership. Now, for our final week of class, we are going to talk about leadership and ethical issues that organizations may face.
Leadership
Daniel Goleman (2000) identified six major leadership styles, and suggested that often, people can choose when to use each one, like a tool in a toolbox. While a personality trait may more comfortably lend itself to a particular leadership style, people can move between them when the need arises.
1. The coercive leader is effective in times of crisis. He or she will make commands and expect others to follow.
2. The authoritative leader lays out the overall goals, but gives others the chance to choose how to meet those goals.
3. The affiliative leader focuses on people first, often laying out praise and building harmony.
4. The democratic leader wants to give everyone a voice in decision-making.
5. The pacesetting leader sets high standards and models these standards.
6. The coaching leader focuses on personal development and less on organizational goals (Goleman, 2000).
Each of these styles is important with community-based organizations. Leadership must know how to recognize when to use the right style with the appropriate situation. Good leadership is integral with helping an organization reach its goals!

Career Interventions Defined
Career intervention is the broadest term and subsumes individual, small group, large group and organizational career development instruments. It’s a deliberate act aimed at enhancing some aspects of a person’s career development.
Career Guidance –organized, systematic efforts designed to influence various aspects of the career development of a client group such as high school or college students.
Career Education is a systematic attempt to influence the career development of students and adults through various types of educational strategies.
Career counseling occurs both individually and in groups and may deal both with personal issues and specific career problem. Career counseling is more likely to be regulated by codes of ethics and legislation at the state level.
Career information is sometimes referred to as labor market information (ONet – online system developed by the U.S. Department of Labor).
Career coaching is, usually a one on one intervention and is often initiated by managers to improve individual employees functioning and for the business to identify the talent it needs to be successful.

Organizational Foundations

One of the most interested ideas to me is (Healthier Communities) it's an important idea to write about especially now a days. The focus is on four levels or perspectives including personal, interpersonal, organizational and societal. Each of these perspectives has an accompanying value including: courageous, loyal, ambitious, and helpful respectively. Each of the values and perspectives generates specific leadership behaviors that help build my model of leadership.
Personal level
The personal level which inspires the value of being courageous. The value of being courageous inspires the behavior of pursuing.

Organizational Behavior (OB) is the study and application of knowledge about how people, individuals, and groups act in organizations. It does this by taking a system approach. That is, it interprets people-organization relationships in terms of the whole person, whole group, whole organization, and whole social system. Its purpose is to build better relationships by achieving human objectives, organizational objectives, and social objectives.
As you can see from the definition above, organizational behavior encompasses a wide range of topics, such as human behavior, change, leadership, teams, etc. Since many of these topics are covered elsewhere in the leadership guide, this paper will focus on a few parts of OB: elements, models, social systems, OD, work life, action learning, and change.
Elements of Organizational Behavior
The organization's base rests on management's philosophy, values, vision and goals. This in turn, drives the organizational culture that is composed of the formal organization, informal organization, and the social environment. The culture determines the type of leadership, communication, and group dynamics within the organization. The workers perceive this as the quality of work life which directs their degree of motivation. The final outcome are performance, individual satisfaction, and personal growth and development. All these elements combine to build the model or framework that the organization operates from.
Models of Organizational Behavior
There are four major models or frameworks that organizations operate out of, Autocratic, Custodial, Supportive, and Collegial (Cunningham, Eberle, 1990; Davis ,1967):
· Autocratic — The basis of this model is power with a managerial orientation of authority. The employees in turn are oriented towards obedience and dependence on the boss. The employee need that is met is subsistence. The performance result is minimal.
· Custodial — The basis of this model is economic resources with a managerial orientation of money. The employees in turn, are oriented towards security, benefits, and dependence on the organization. The employee need that is met is security. The performance result is passive cooperation.
· Supportive — The basis of this model is leadership with a managerial orientation of support. The employees in turn are oriented towards job performance and participation. The employee need that is met is status and recognition. The performance result is awakened drives.
· Collegial — The basis of this model is partnership with a managerial orientation of teamwork. The employees in turn are oriented towards responsible behavior and self-discipline. The employee need that is met is self-actualization. The performance result is moderate enthusiasm.

and mentoring share many similarities. According to the International Institute of Coaching (2012) coaching is a form of personal development where the client and coach form an alliance that promotes and sustains the client’s personal growth. Career Education is a systematic attempt to influence the career development of students and adults through various types of educational strategies.

Elements of Organizational Behavior
The organization's base rests on management's philosophy, values, vision and goals. This in turn, drives the organizational culture that is composed of the formal organization, informal organization, and the social environment. The culture determines the type of leadership, communication, and group dynamics within the organization. The workers perceive this as the quality of work life which directs their degree of motivation. The final outcome are performance, individual satisfaction, and personal growth and development. All these elements combine to build the model or framework that the organization operates from.
Models of Organizational Behavior
There are four major models or frameworks that organizations operate out of, Autocratic, Custodial, Supportive, and Collegial (Cunningham, Eberle, 1990; Davis ,1967):
· Autocratic — The basis of this model is power with a managerial orientation of authority. The employees in turn are oriented towards obedience and dependence on the boss. The employee need that is met is subsistence. The performance result is minimal.
· Custodial — The basis of this model is economic resources with a managerial orientation of money. The employees in turn, are oriented towards security, benefits, and dependence on the organization. The employee need that is met is security. The performance result is passive cooperation.
· Supportive — The basis of this model is leadership with a managerial orientation of support. The employees in turn are oriented towards job performance and participation. The employee need that is met is status and recognition. The performance result is awakened drives.
· Collegial — The basis of this model is partnership with a managerial orientation of teamwork. The employees in turn are oriented towards responsible behavior and self-discipline. The employee need that is met is self-actualization. The performance result is moderate enthusiasm.

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in Education
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Creating a satisfying personal model of leadership, which reflects one’s values and beliefs and impacts how one affects organizations, communities, and society, is a lifelong process. What approach should I take to complete my personal leadership model? Building a personal leadership model can be approached from both a systematic and holistic perspective. It also requires creativity, passion, and a framework that leaders can use as they explore various models of leadership over their lifetimes.The process of creating a personal model involves continuously exploring and analyzing various leadership models.You will find certain elements of these models appealing and might choose to integrate them into your own model. Others you will not want to include. It is important to weigh the elements against your own system of values and beliefs and select the ones that will most enrich your own model and the lives of those whom you lead. What do I use to develop my personal model of leadership? As you explore various leadership models, utilize the table
- 2. provided below to breakdown, select, and record their appealing elements. You will complete the table as you move through the process of developing your leadership model throughout the course. This table will serve as a starting point or outline as you think through your personal model of leadershipand write your paper. How do I develop my personal model of leadership? Creating a leadership model involves the following: 1. Select the basic values that will provide the foundation and identify the leadership behaviors that will result from those values.As you select values for your own model, link each one you choose to one of these following four perspectives: a. Values that guide you from an individual or “I” perspective. b. Values that guide you from an interpersonal perspective. c. Values that guide you from an organizational perspective. d. Values that guide you from a societal perspective. 2.
