The Ultimate Freedom Plan for Life and Business by 2017 - Natalie Sisson Natalie Sisson
Two years ago to the day I was sitting on a golden sand beach on Penang Island, Malaysia, sipping on a coconut and watching the waves lapping the shore.
I had my iPad in my hand too and when I wasn’t gazing out to sea or enjoying the warmth of the sun on my face, I was reading Cameron Herold’s book Double Double; and more importantly, all about the power of a Painted Picture (which he’s recently renamed Vivid Vision).
Regardless of what you call it, the power of this exercise is unbelievable, and until you try it yourself you might not believe me. In a nutshell it’s like a vision board on steroids, but so much more valuable and a far higher percentage of actually turning your dreams into reality.
Two hours later, in an open air cafe overlooking that beach I had written my 3 year vision for my life and business. By the end of 2013 over 60% of what I’d stated I wanted to happen had come true, including having written and published my #No 1 bestselling book and making six figures in revenue.
To date the Painted Picture that I made public on Slideshare a few months later has had over 48,000 views and hundreds of downloads. It has also been a huge talking point with people I meet around the world and in my community.
It’s now a major part of my Freedom Plan program
http://suitcaseentrepreneur.com/freedomplan as I believe it’s IMPERATIVE everyone create their own if they truly want personal and professional success and happiness.
So now I'd like to share with you my NEW vision for life and business in the hope that you'll be part of this journey and help make it a reality. Thank you!

Education as Engine
Education as Engine was a lecture delivered in 2014 by Maralynne D. Mitcham, a professor who worked towards development of occupational therapy. The lecturer started with the quote, “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others.” The lecture had several pearls of wisdom that include:
1. Education is a commodity meant for societal benefit rather than personal gain. She compared education to food where one considers important ingredients to make good food. Likewise, education should establish a stimulating and accomplished society.
2. Resources and choices in education should not necessarily please individuals. Virtues in education should be used to put communities back on track once they start shifting away.
3. Learning as a process ensures people interact and share different professional and personal experiences to be used for the betterment of others.
4. Life is a journey of constant improvement and people can achieve many things in the process of living. Lifetime journey has power to demonstrate better living standards and conditions among humans.
5. Living is a process. We might stumble in unfamiliar difficult territories but we should keep moving because we have experience gained from the learning process.
6. She advised graduates to keep their education engines oiled for easy running and in case anyone lost track in life they should get up and keep fighting.
The lecture focused on three themes: education as a produce, learning, and living as a process. Mitchen considers education as a product that should be designed in a way that benefits the society through vetting its needs. Education should be objective in producing citizens who are resourceful, mindful, and innovative and can impart the same skills and knowledge to future generations. She argues that as much as graduates should continue to add more knowledge, they should train themselves to acquire what they need in solving problems (Mitchen 697). Every product requires raw materials; therefore, it is important to have the correct entry points for occupational therapy to ensure delivery of a proper education outcome.
In the lecture, Mitchen discussed how learning as process is different from education, especially in occupational therapy. Learning is considered as a personal search for new knowledge and skills. It is based on individual decisions and capabilities because people decide the paths they want to follow. Besides, it is a process because it develops from simple to complex, and individuals are always compelled to garner new information. She noted that in the past practitioners thought they had the needed knowledge in occupational therapy, but new knowledge keeps emerging with every learning experience (Mitchen 702). She notes that with technology, there is a wide range of knowledge out there for individuals to continue learning.

Share your knowledge, go from darkness to Light .
In a formal teaching environment, various content and subjects are exchanged between teachers and learners. A student’s learning is assessed only through the contents -its retention, its depth, and width. However, none of these give any measure to the amount of luminance of light that a learner has acquired and passed on during his/her learning processes using content as a vehicle. Thus the acquired luminance of light acts as the learner’s North Star of life – a guiding path. With this, the learner achieves success, builds family, contributes to society, and becomes part of the bonafide citizenry of any nation.

Reaserch outline and reaserch paper
My research idea:
One of the most interested ideas to me is (Healthier Communities) it's an important idea to write about especially now a days. A healthy community is defined by the ability of it's people to undertake their daily activities without diseases. And a healthy community attract outsiders like tourists. There are social and cultural factors like tradition, politics, beliefs, socioeconomic status, social norms and the economy. I will get into each one of these in details in my research paper.
Instructor response to my topic idea:
This is too general of an idea, if you want to write about the cultural impact on health care in a society, fine, however you need to narrow down your focus to be about one particular group of people (e.g. the impact of culture on the health of Korean s or Saudies or Americans...)
My research topic:
My research topic would be "Healthier communities" Having a healthy community
depends on the people living in it. My idea of a healthy community is where people are free
from mental and physical problems. People have the opportunity to live to their full
potentials. A healthy community is defined by the ability of its people to undertake their daily
activities without diseases or pain.
Instructor response to my research topic:
I guess i may have mentioned this before, you need to focus your topic; after all you are not writing a book; maybe you can take one aspect of health and discuss how culture impacts that.
Instruction for Outline:
This is the skeleton of your paper/project (even with a video project there should be a script/plan) . The outline could be a bullet-point structure and should include a title, introduction: presenting main argument and some background information; Body: bullet points of what and how you will introduce and develop your topic; then a Conclusion: as well bullet point structure of what will go in this section. Please include in each section the main references that you will use for each main point. A reference page of the potential/preliminary references you will be using should be included.
And then do the final paper please.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

Personal Grow and Development May 28, 2018
After a presentation of professional grow and development conducted for one
and a half hour on May 21, 2018 by a group of Taiwan monks, Bliss and Wisdom
Group, I noticed that they are from Buddhist foundation led by Founder and
Spiritual Master, Jih Chang. This Bliss and Wisdom Organization was founded
in 1992 and based in Taipei, Taiwan. Their goal is to promote the Buddha
Dharma and to make the teachings freely available to the general public. They
do not favor to any school, and all are afforded equal respect. During the
presentation, they tried to advice and educate us about how we can turn our lives
to be good, better and the best. Below are the points that I have absorbed from
them after joining their presentation.
Firstly, what I have learnt on that day is what Buddhism really is. To what they
have explained, Buddhism is the only path to end suffering and attain happiness,
which is developing bodhicitta and achieving Buddhahood (Jih, 1992). Achieving
Buddhahood is not an overnight endeavor. It begins with the aspiration, followed
by clear obstacles and amass merits, life after life continuously.
Secondly, what I have learnt is their Monastic Community which is consisted of
three structural elements included BODY, MIND and SPIRIT. In the body stage
of their Monastic Community, they focus on healthy living, so they educate their
people and community to grow only organic things on their farm. They don’t use
pesticide chemical fertilizer which can seriously affect to their people and
community. In contrast, if they do, they strongly believe that they will bring bad
sight effects to their people and community, and there will be three things
happened: Poisson to Death, Hungry to Death and Fight to Death. They also have a program
called Pure Spring Project which is one of their projects that educates and helps
famers with organic plantation and shows their people how to save and take care
of drinking water reservoir which is the source of our lives. They also have tree
planting program which they always believe that they can be part to protect the
environment and many lives on earth. So far, they have planted 382,000 trees,
and there are more than 81,00 people who have participated in this program.
They have also created a business channel which they can help their farmers with
the products from their organic farm called Leezen Company. Currently, this
social enterprise has 132 chain stores, and they also have their cooperative
partners: 300 farms, 500 suppliers and 550 retails stores. The core value of this
company are good producers, honest distributors, and happy consumers. In
mind stage of their structural elements, they focus on culture and education.
According to the philosophy of master Jin-Chang, he stated that “Education is the
key to the rise and fall of human beings”.

Personal Grow and Development May 28, 2018
This quote also reminds me of Nelson Mandela’s quote saying that “Education is
the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” (BrainyQuote, 2018).
To me personally, this philosophy is 100% correct. As human beings, we have to
have knowledge and strong education which represent our own core value and
uniqueness. The knowledge and education most likely bring us to the top level
and more likely turn us to be a problem solver rather than problem maker. And
the last stage of the structural elements is Spirit (Buddhism) which can help calm
ourselves down and start loving with what we are having right now. They also
advised us to take control and overcome those negative thoughts in order to turn
our lives to be happy, successful and peaceful.
Thirdly, what I have learnt from the second speaker is whenever we start doing
something, we have to know who we are, what interest us the most and how we
are important for our community and society for the next few years. Then select
what we like the most and move forwards; what they call is “following one’s
nature”. After knowing ourselves and selecting what we like, we have to “develop
our potential” through our time, energy effort and our commitment, then
“appreciate the way of our living”, later “give aspiration and build the goal” and
last “fulfill responsibility and mission” for ourselves, our next generation, our
community and as well as our society.
Overall, I can conclude that in order to turn our lives to be good, better and the
best, we have to learn how to make peace in mind, enjoy with what we are having,
share, support and help others as much as we can without expecting something
back, know about logic and common sense and have real knowledge and strong
education. I think the presentation conducted on May 21, 2018 is really useful
session, and it does not only provide benefits for myself, but also for other
students who are learning at PUC community.
