that aids in accomplishing

● Tool range from a traditional
metal cutting part of the
machine to an element of a
computer program that
activates and controls a
specific function.
Categories of Hardware Tools
● Hand Tools used to perform work on
material or physical system using only
hands. It can manually used employing
force or electrically powered using
electric current.
● Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) Tools
used to perform work on material or
physical system using only hands. It can
manually used employing force or
electrically powered using electric
current.

organize computer components.
● Diagnostic Tools used to test and

• Flathead Screwdriver used

screw. Also known as Philips
