1. PERFORMANCE LOG<br /> WEEK MY LOGWEEK 1 : What is MimeIn this lesson I have researched on what is mime. I looked up on the internet to find out more about mime. I also made a presentation of all the information I found.WEEK 2: Watching Mime PerformancesWe watched different kind of mime performance on YouTube and we were told to do a review of one of the mime performance we watched. I done a review on 9/11 piece.WEEK 3: The Elements of MimeIn this lesson we all looked at a lot of different kind of mime this is because we had to choose what to do for our performance and we all chose mime because it is different then what others will do for their performance.WEEK 4: Who is Our Audience? What do they want?For the audience I made a survey to see how many people watched or heard of a mime performance. I did a survey on survey monkey. WEEK 5: Ideas for Paired PerformanceI was paired with Zara and Moshumi and we thinking of ideas for our performance and we decided we are going to have a fighting scene however than later we found out that Zara wasn’t going to be here for the show. So we all decide to not to do it because there was less time to think of another one. WEEK 6: Ideas for Group performanceIn my group there was Rubina and Humaira and we decided to do a restaurant scene as no one was doing it. It starts off with me and Rubina enter the restaurant and we sit down and then Humaira comes to take our orders but we couldn’t decide what we want kept on changing our mind and Humaira goes mad and walks off. And we had others bits to it.WEEK 6: Storyboarding I also did a story board on our group Scene. This shows what we are doing for our performance.WEEK 7: Organising Rehearsals and Props and EquipmentMy job was a set designer with Rubina. We went ask what kind of design they want for their group.WEEK 7: ChoreographyAbigail and Renée was the choreographer and we all were rehears ling with them the dance routines WEEK 8: RehearsalI attend all the rehearsalWEEK 9 : Rehearsal & Production MeetingI also attend the production meetings every time when it was held and also took some note of what they mentioned we need to do. WEEK 10: Campaign/ Promotion PlanThe promotion team were in charge of promoting our performance and they created some posters to let people know.WEEK 11: Rehearsal – Visit from Professional Mime ArtistIn this lesson a professional mime artist came to rehearsal with us and tech us how to get the moves right and also tech us different kind of movements for mime.WEEK 12: Dress and Technical RehearsalsWe had less dress and technical rehearsals however we did have 1 or 2 with the lighting and sound rehearsals just before our performance. WEEK 13: PerformanceThe performance was really great. However we couldn’t do our group performance because Humaira and Rubina weren’t able to make it to the performance. I did ask some who one of the audience about the show.<br />
