WEEK MY LOG
WEEK 1 : What is Mime I researched on the internet what mime is
on Google and also use the information
my teacher told us in class. I put the
information into presentation.
WEEK 2: Watching Mime Performances We watched many different mime
performances from YouTube and we all
had to do a review on one of the mime
performances we watched. My teacher
told us to do a review on the 9/11 piece.
WEEK 3: The Elements of Mime We looked at lots of different types of
mime such as drama, music and dance.
The reasons why we looked at different
element of mime is because we had to
choose what performance we would like
to do as a class for the performance unit.
We all chose mime because it was
something that not that many people
would like to do.
WEEK 4: Who is Our Audience? What I made an audience survey on monkey
do they want? survey so I can find out what people
would like to watch in the show.
WEEK 5: Ideas for Paired Performance I was paired with Sabrina and we thought
that we would perform a shopping scene.
We will both be doing some shopping
then we both see a dress and want it.
We’re going to be fighting for it and it is
going to rip, when we are pulling it.
WEEK 6: Ideas for Group performance The idea for the group performance is
that me, Suma and Rubina are going to
do a restaurant scene. First Suma and
Rubina enter the restaurant. Then they
order there food. The waiter gets mad
and they eat there food and Rubina goes
with the waiter.
WEEK 6: Storyboarding I drew a storyboard showing my
performances.
WEEK 7: Organising Rehearsals and my job in the sshhh! Production was a

2. Props and Equipment Budget Manager. I make sure that we
don’t over spend when we are getting the
props and make-up.
WEEK 7: Choreography Renee and Abigail were the
choreographers for the performance. We
rehearsed the dance pieces in the
rehearsals.
WEEK 8: Rehearsal I attended all of the rehearsals.
WEEK 9 : Rehearsal & Production I attended all the production meeting and
Meeting rehearsals and made notes of the things
that people said and what we needed to
do.
WEEK 10: Campaign/ Promotion Plan The promotion team were the people that
created the posters and the other
promotional materials.
WEEK 11: Rehearsal – Visit from A professional mime artist came into
Professional Mime Artist school to show us some mime
movements and he watched our scenes
and told us what we were doing wrong.
We didn’t have much dress and technical
WEEK 12: Dress and Technical rehearsals before the show because Mr
Rehearsals Mcintosh was not available at the time.
WEEK 13: Performance The performance was excellent.
Although on the night I didn’t attend but I
watched the performance on a video that
my teacher took. I went and asked
someone that watched the show of what
they thought of the show and I put that
up on my blog.
