This document presents a sampling-based approach to spacecraft planning with safety specifications. It proposes generating collision avoidance maneuvers (CAMs) that can safely navigate a spacecraft to a positively invariant set for any failure time or mode. This simplifies the safety problem by only requiring checking if CAMs are feasible under different failure scenarios, rather than solving complex optimization problems. The approach restricts spacecraft burns and planning to actively safe nodes defined by the CAMs, allowing safety to be incorporated into sampling-based planning methods. This provides a provably correct framework for systematically encoding safety specifications into spacecraft trajectory generation.

IRJET- Robust and Fast Detection of Moving Vechiles in Aerial Videos usin...IRJET Journal
This document discusses a method for detecting moving vehicles in aerial videos using sliding windows in MATLAB. It first performs foreground motion segmentation and trajectory accumulation to build a dynamic scene motion heat map. It then introduces a novel saliency-based background model that enhances moving objects to segment vehicles in high-heat areas. Key steps include compensating for camera motion, detecting independent motion via tracking image corners, and applying a sliding window classifier with optimized parameters like window size and orientation. Evaluation on urban videos shows the approach achieves 88% detection rates with only 2% false positives, outperforming alternative segmentation-based methods in processing time and accuracy. The goal is robust, real-time vehicle detection from aerial videos for applications like traffic monitoring.

Global interconnect planning becomes a challenge as semiconductor technology continuously scales. Because of the increasing wire resistance and higher capacitive coupling in smaller features, the delay of global interconnects becomes large compared with the delay of a logic gate, introducing a huge performance gap that needs to be resolved A novel equalized global link architecture and driver– receiver co design flow are proposed for high-speed and low-energy on-chip communication by utilizing a continuous-time linear equalizer (CTLE). The proposed global link is analyzed using a linear system method, and the formula of CTLE eye opening is derived to provide high-level design guidelines and insights.
Compared with the separate driver–receiver design flow, over 50% energy reduction is observed.

IRJET- Segmenting and Classifying the Moving Object from HEVC Compressed Surv...IRJET Journal
This paper proposes a method to segment and classify moving objects in HEVC compressed surveillance videos. It first uses motion vectors and coding information to segment moving objects at the block level. Connected foreground blocks are grouped into objects. It then extracts HEVC syntax features from blocks within detected object regions, such as motion vectors, block sizes and prediction modes. These features are used to train a classifier to distinguish vehicles from people. The method aims to perform these tasks directly in the compressed domain for efficient analysis of large surveillance video collections.
Semantic Concept Detection in Video Using Hybrid Model of CNN and SVM Classif...CSCJournals
In today's era of digitization and fast internet, many video are uploaded on websites, a mechanism is required to access this video accurately and efficiently. Semantic concept detection achieve this task accurately and is used in many application like multimedia annotation, video summarization, annotation, indexing and retrieval. Video retrieval based on semantic concept is efficient and challenging research area. Semantic concept detection bridges the semantic gap between low level extraction of features from key-frame or shot of video and high level interpretation of the same as semantics. Semantic Concept detection automatically assigns labels to video from predefined vocabulary. This task is considered as supervised machine learning problem. Support vector machine (SVM) emerged as default classifier choice for this task. But recently Deep Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) has shown exceptional performance in this area. CNN requires large dataset for training. In this paper, we present framework for semantic concept detection using hybrid model of SVM and CNN. Global features like color moment, HSV histogram, wavelet transform, grey level co-occurrence matrix and edge orientation histogram are selected as low level features extracted from annotated groundtruth video dataset of TRECVID. In second pipeline, deep features are extracted using pretrained CNN. Dataset is partitioned in three segments to deal with data imbalance issue. Two classifiers are separately trained on all segments and fusion of scores is performed to detect the concepts in test dataset. The system performance is evaluated using Mean Average Precision for multi-label dataset. The performance of the proposed framework using hybrid model of SVM and CNN is comparable to existing approaches.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is not limited to software development, mobile apps and ICT service management but percolates into all kind of products with the so-called Internet of Things.
ICT depends on software where defects are common. Developing software is knowledge acquisition, not civil engineering. Thus knowledge might be missing and consequently leading to defects and failures to perform. In turn, operating ICT products involves connecting ICT services with human interaction, and is error-prone as well. There is much value in delivering software without defects. However, up to now there exists no agreed method of measuring defects in ICT. UML sequence diagrams is a software model that describes data movements between actors and objects and allows for automated measurements using ISO/IEC 19761 COSMIC. Can we also use it for defect measurements that allows applying standard Six Sigma techniques to ICT by measuring both functional size and defect density in the same model? It allows sizing of functionality and defects even if no code is available. ISO/IEC 19761 measurements are linear, thus fitting to sprints in agile development as well as for using statistical tools from Six Sigma.(IT Confidence 2014, Tokyo (Japan))
IRJET- A Review Analysis to Detect an Object in Video Surveillance SystemIRJET Journal
This document reviews techniques for detecting objects in video surveillance systems. It discusses common object detection methods like frame differencing, optical flow, and background subtraction. Frame differencing detects motion by calculating pixel differences between frames but cannot detect still objects. Optical flow estimates pixel motion between frames to detect objects. Background subtraction models the static background and detects objects by subtracting current frames from the background model. The document analyzes these techniques and their use in video surveillance applications like traffic monitoring and security. It concludes more research is needed to improve object classification accuracy and handle challenges like camera motion.

This document discusses techniques for improving video compression efficiency for surveillance videos. It proposes modifying the architecture of scalable video coding to make it surveillance-centric by allowing adaptive rate-distortion optimization at the GOP level based on whether events of interest are present. Experimental results show foreground detection and updating of background adaptively over time to improve compression. Future work includes further enhancing selective motion estimation techniques to improve processing efficiency without degrading video quality.
This document discusses video quality analysis for H.264 based on the human visual system. It proposes an improved video quality assessment method that adds color comparison to structural similarity measurement. The method separates similarity measurement into four comparisons: luminance, contrast, structure, and color. Experimental results on video sets with two distortion types show the proposed method's quality scores are more consistent with visual quality than classical methods. ABSTRACT: As the improvement of the status of verification and the verification technology in IC and SoC, this paper designs a verification platform based on Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) and finish the verification of a IP core based on AXI4 protocol ,which Combines the technology of Assert. This platform adopts a VIP RAM IP core based on AXI4 protocol as the Design Under Test(DUT),which takes advantage of the inheritance and reuse of UVM class to build the Universal Verification Component(UVC) and the tree of UVM.It designs transaction of UVM platform as the constrained random excitation, which completes the system verification toward the DUT.At last, the Simulation shows that the UVM platform finishes the verification of the DUT,which reaches the functional coverage on 100%.In addition, instead of the traditional simple testbench, the UVM verification platform in this paper shows the better reusability and portability by the use of the reusability of the UVC,which can be used to verify the other DUT on AXI4 protocol.

Editor's Notes
What is the most accurate task definition? How to come up with consistent and reliable reference annotations that facilitate meaningful evaluation? Though there were more questions than answers, the first step towards a large scale empirical evaluation of object detection and tracking was finally taken

VACE metrics are normalized in a way that misses, false alarms, and track splits/merges are penalized; Before the metrics are computed, a one-to-one mapping between the reference and system output objects are established through a Bi-partite graph matching algorithm
Mean performance scores using the VACE metrics
Besides generating a set of numbers, we did a bunch of analyses on the results that would both aid developers in their debugging and also help us in providing deeper insights into the evaluation results
Mention that results are likely to improve; Realize our ultimate goal of providing long lasting resources to the computer vision for many years to come;
