1. Introduction
• Uyogo Purush Lakshanam.
• To work is the national tendency of a man.
• Everybody wants to work either as a self
employed person or as an owner of the business
or as an employee.
• Every employee is not just an employee but also
he is an entrepreneur.
• Employee + Entrepreneur = “Emplopreneur”

Whom do you appreciate as a boss?
A dead cockroach was found in the food in a
restaurant.
1. Mr. X brings it to the notice of the Chef and
asks him to throw it and prepare fresh food.
2. Mr. Y simply removes the dead cockroach from
the food and serves the same food to the
customers.

How do you deal with the following situation?
• You are the Boss in a Management Institute.
• You invited Mr.Shantilal, an HR Manager of a
company as a guest lecturer for a seminar
• You asked Mr.Vithal an Accountant working under you
to pay him an honorarium of Rs.5,000 per hour.
• The normal rate of honorarium was Rs.1,000 per hour.
• Mr.Vithal negtiated the rate of honorarium with
Mr.Shantilal and persuaded him to accept the
honorarium of Rs.1,000 per hour.

available for selection.

score.

4. Manoj Prabhakar was not selected for the next match
even though he was not injured and he was available
for selection.

Crores in a year and improved the sprofitability of the
branch by 50%.
2. Mr. Y, a Bank Manager sanctioned The loans of Rs.2
Crores in a year and improved the sprofitability of the
branch by 5%.
3. The loans of Rs.10 Lakhs sanctioned by Mr. X became
bad Debt.
4. The loans of Rs.2 Lakhs sanctioned by Mr. Y became
bad Debt.
5. Mr. Y was given preference for promotion over Mr.X
because has bad debts were lower.

1. Mr. X, was a faculty member of a training institute
meant for clerks having a jurisdiction of few districts in a
state.
2. Mr. Y, was a faculty member of a training insgtitute
meant for officers and Managers having a jurisdiction of
whole India.
3. Both of them were candidates for the promotion
process.
4. Mr. X was given 59 out of 60 Marks (Highest) and
promoted.
5. Mr. Y was given 28 out of 60 Marks (Lowest) and not
promoted.

1. Mr. X, Mr. Y, and Mr. Z, were the three clerks working
under Mr.Shantilal, the Manager.
2. They were eligible for promotion.
3. Out of total 100 Marks for promotion, 25 Marks were
reserved for the Manager
4. Mr.Shantilal, wanted to motivate his staff.
5. He allotted 25 marks out of 25 to all the three clerks.
6. Even though it was supposed to be confidential,
Manager thought of showing it individually to each of
them expecting tht they will be pleased and motivated.
7. But, all the three were demotivated and not pleased.
