This document summarizes a study on people living with chronic diseases and their use of the internet in Catalonia. The study was based on a representative survey of 2000 people in Catalonia that asked about health status, healthcare services used, health attitudes, internet usage, and demographics. The results showed that 28.6% of respondents reported having a chronic disease, and those with chronic diseases were more likely to use the internet to search for health information or access online health services compared to those without chronic diseases. In addition, those with chronic diseases had higher e-readiness for network society based on factors like age, education, and profession.
