Peh Lim Tan has been promoted to Manager for Operations Performance Management across the APAC region to lead efforts to drive operational excellence through continuous improvement. Prabageran Thiagarayah has been welcomed as Continuous Improvement Manager based in Malaysia to develop the CI strategy for Malaysia and facilitate its implementation using KDM methodology. The appointments will support the strategy to ensure manufacturing reaches the highest standards through performance management and continuous improvement.

APAC Operations: Continuous Improvement Appointments
Having implemented SAP across most of our manufacturing facilities in Kerry APAC, we can confidently look
forward to continuing the journey towards Operational Excellence. A critical pillar in the strategy to ensure
that our manufacturing organisation reaches the highest standards is Performance Management for
Continuous Improvement.
I am pleased to confirm some appointments in our APAC organisation to support this strategy.
Peh Lim Tan has been promoted to Manager for Operations Performance Management across the APAC
region. Reporting to me, and with a dotted line to Ian Owen, Regional Engineering Director, Tan will lead our
efforts to further drive operational excellence into all aspects of our manufacturing operations through a
Continuous Improvement approach – including safety, quality and production.
In addition to continuing his role as Technical SME for our Nutritional manufacturing, Tan will be responsible
for identifying and project managing our optimisation efforts across the region in line with our Kerry Excel
targets and plant scorecard metrics. Tan has been with the Kerry organisation since he joined our business in
Malaysia as a graduate in 2005, and has been an instrumental part of our manufacturing operations in Tampoi
and Penang during that time.
Supporting Tan in this role, we are delighted to welcome Prabageran Thiagarayah to Kerry as Continuous
Improvement Manager based in Plentong, Malaysia, reporting to Ian Owen. T.Praba will be responsible for
working with Ian and Tan to develop the CI strategy for Malaysia, and for facilitating the implementation of
that plan in Plentong using KDM methodology. Under Tin Yung Chong’s leadership (Plant Manager Plentong),
he will coach and mentor the Plentong plant teams on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
In his previous roles & organisations, T.Praba has held leadership roles in Process Improvement, Engineering
Project Management and Lean Management. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Engineering from UTM. the
University Technology of Malaysia.
The Continuous Improvement team will leverage the work already done in this area in other regions of Kerry
globally, as well as with other key partner functions including Operations Finance and the Global Middle Office
Learning Academy.
