Career Snapshot:
 Total I have 8.0Years Of Experience in Production Department.
 At present TATA Autocomp Systems Ltd(TACO). In the BU of Automotive Stampings and
Assemblies Limited (ASAL), in production press shop department.
 Before ASAL I was working with John Deere India Pvt Ltd in Transmission assembly department in
pune.
Company Profile:
 John Deere is a world largest farm equipment manufacturer with annual turn over $20 billion. John
Deere produces 5000 series tractors from Pune plant ranging from 35 hp to 75 hp. Company also
possesses QS 9000 certificate for quality systems and ISO 14001 certification for environmental
management system.
 TACO itself is having the brand name of TATA GROUP. ASAL produce press components and
welded assemblies of various 4-wheeler & 3-wheeler vehicles.
 ASAL have four business unit in India. The major customers are TATA Motors, General Motors
India, PIAGGIO and FIAT.
Area of Expertise:
Production
 Strong orientation towards achievement of Production targets (with effective utilization of all the
resources).
 Strong Orientation towards Productivity improvement by using various tools like LCA (Low Cost
Automation), Kaizen, etc.
 Monitoring of 5’S activities in shop that stimulate Production activity.
 Manpower planning and allocation.
 Involvement in daily production loss analysis.
 Implementation of POKA-YOKE to find out assembly defect.
 Trouble shooting skills which arises on shop floor.
 Implementing 5S at the shop floor & better housekeeping of tools of the production lines
Manufacturing Quality
 Study & analysis of total process to find out possible chances of production defect & implementation of
Poka-yoke.
 By changing process and deleting rework from component.
Cost Reduction
 Implementation of Kaizens, Tooling improvement, Reusing Tools, Use of alternative material or
sources, elimination of wastes & following discipline.
 Control on Scrap of components & products by monitoring process.
Manpower development skills
 Identification of training needs to subordinates.
 Effective manpower planning and optimum utilization.
 Manpower planning & allocation.
 Responsible for multi skilling of operators.
 Training given to operators about using PPE, process quality.& improvement etc.
 Got certificate from National Safety Council durig internal safety training in ASAL.
 Give trainning to subordinates regarding TOYOTA PRODUCTION SYSTEM. (TPS)
 Give training to people about Safety in press shop.
 Give traing to subordinates how to make SOP, How to communicate with subordinates or workers.
