Penn State University has expanded its hybrid Master of Professional Accounting degree program to Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh. The 30-credit program can be completed part-time over two years or full-time over one year, and fulfills the educational requirements to become a licensed CPA. Students will primarily take online courses taught by Penn State Behrend faculty but will also attend four in-person classes at a new learning center. The program covers topics like forensic accounting, strategic planning, and commercial transactions to prepare students for a career in public accounting.
