Peardeck is an online platform that allows teachers to turn PowerPoint presentations into interactive lessons by embedding assessment questions throughout the presentation. This engagement tool lets students follow along at their own pace and provides teachers with formative assessment data from each student in real-time. Teachers can either upload existing PowerPoint files to Peardeck or create new presentations directly in the Peardeck site to take advantage of its interactive and assessment capabilities.

PEARDECK
• Option 1:
• Upload an already existing PowerPoint presentation from
PowerPoint or Google Slides to the Peardeck website and
embed questions into the presentation
• Pros: PowerPoint is easier to create, manipulate, and more
aesthetically pleasing
• Cons: Cannot change the original uploaded presentation. If
there is an error you have to re-upload.
• Option 2:
• Create a presentation and embed questions directly from
Peardeck site
• Pros: can easily edit and change the presentation
• Cons: difficult to input math text
