• Health is the state of well-being in which all

The World Health Organization (WHO)
defined health in its broader sense in its 1948
constitution as "a state of complete physical,
mental, and social well-being and not merely
the absence of disease or infirmity.

• Public health is defined as the
science of protecting the safety
and improving the health of
communities through education,
policy making and research for
disease and injury prevention.
