and the music is very
slow at the beginning
and it is faster at the
end. The Eagle
finishes the dance
spinning and its tail is
very dangerous.

6. There are 4 dwarfs
dressed with antique
clothes and black
hats. They have long
plaits and they dance
and play the
castanets.

7. They are 4 tall figures,
2 men and 2 women,
and they dance in the
middle of the square.

8. There are 4 dwarfs,
and they represent
two couples, a
young one and an
older one. They
have a very lively
dance.

9. There are 100 people
dressed like demons
and wearing masks
with horns. They wear
three firecrackers in
each horn and three
on the tail. It is the
most exciting dance
of Patum and it is
very noisy.

10. At the end of Patum,
after the “plens”, the
giants and the mules
come back to the
square and they
dance.
