This document describes two types of patterns: a continuous pattern where each term is one more than the previous term, and a repeating pattern where the same sequence of terms repeats over and over. As an example of a continuous pattern, the terms given are 2, 3, 4, 5, with each term increasing by 1. For the repeating pattern, the same sequence of numbers or letters repeats endlessly.
