 Patience is the ability to accept or tolerate delay without becoming angry.
 It’s also a person’s ability to endure something tedious without getting frustrated
or angry.

Ways To Cultivate Patience
 Practice Gratitude: Be thankful even when you are angry
 Embrace situations as they come especially when you know it would yield
positive result.
 Be mindful of what makes you angry and try every means to avoid it.
Advantages Of Being Patient
 It gives you time for strategic thinking and completing your task while you
ignore irrelevant things.
 Things would fall in place ,provided you have the strategic and clearer view of
what’s going on presently.
 Since you are okay with waiting until things calm down, It will put you in a better
position to make strategic decisions.
 Being patience reduces anger in people.
Do You Want To Get Your Anger Under Control? Do
The Following:
 Think before you speak: It is easy to say something you will later regret, so take
your time to collect your thoughts together before saying anything because
words once spoken cannot be recollected.
 Once you are calm, express your anger: Express your anger without trying to
hurt the other party.
 Exercise: This would help you to reduce the stress that can make you angry.
 Take a time out: Give yourself breaks during the time of the time of the day that
is stressful, Quiet time helps you to feel better without getting angry when
handling other tasks.
 Identify possible solutions : Getting angry at things does not provide solutions to
them, so do well to get solution to the issue on ground.
 Sticking with the “I” statement: Not necessarily taking all the blames but try to use
“I” in other to create peace E.g. I thought you would have done this work assigned
to you, not why haven’t you done the work assigned to you.
 Learn to respect everyone : Even as the head of the company, learn to respect the
least staff in your organization because respect is reciprocal.
 Do not hold grudge: Forgiveness is a powerful tool that should be used always.

 Practice Relaxation skills :Taking a deep breath, imagining a relaxed scene,
encourage yourself with the word… .Take it easy.
 Seek help when necessary: Controlling of anger isn’t a easy task, talk to someone,
learn to seek help always.
 Shift your focus: Divert from what is making you angry to another thing entirely
 Meditate
 Use your anger as a motivation to make a change.
 Do something new.
 Watch or listen to something funny just to easy the anger
