NILE RITZ CARLTON
IN AIRO
Originally called the Nile Hilton,
this hotel offers guests a stun-
ning view of the Nile, which
it has done since opening in
1959. Misr Hotels awarded Hill
International the contract to
restore the hotel in late 2011,
which involved modernising
the building while keeping its
historic features intact.
STEIGENBERGER HOTEL
IN COLOGNE
Located in Germany, the Steigen-
berger was previously called the
Hotel Cologne Rudolfplatz, and
since opening it has become an im-
portant and protected landmark of
Cologne. The requested changes
to the hotel included modernising
305 rooms, adding a new ballroom,
renovating the restaurant and bar,
and adding a new meeting space.
ST. REGIS HOTEL IN ASTANA
Located in Kazakhstan, St. Regis
is a 120-room hotel filled with
many amenities like a spa, an
indoor pool, fitness centre and a
restaurant, and it was built on the
site of a well-known restaurant.
Hill International project managed
the construction and made sure
that the hotel included high-stan-
dard features like a heating and
cooling control system.
