WHY WORRY SHOULDN’T BE A PART OF OUR LIVES

Look at the birds. They don’t need to plant or harvest or put food in barns because your
heavenly Father feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than they are. (Matthew
6:26)

Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Of course not. (Matthew 6:27)

God clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today but tomorrow is thrown into the fire. So
you can be even more sure that God will clothe you. Don’t have so little faith! Don’t worry and
say, “What will we eat? or What will we drink?” The people who don’t know God keep trying to
get these things, and your Father in heaven knows that you need them. (Matthew 6:30-32)

HOW WORRY IS OVERCOME IN OUR LIVES
STEP 1: Be ________________________________________________
… pray about everything. Tell God your needs . . . (Philippians 4:6 - LB)
When you pray, tell God every detail of your needs . . . (Philippians 4:6 - Ph)
Never stop praying, especially for others. Always pray by the power of the Spirit. Stay alert and
keep praying for God's people. (Ephesians 6:18 – CEV)

2. And how bold and free we then become in his presence, freely asking according to his will,
sure that he's listening. And if we're confident that he's listening, we know that what
we've asked for is as good as ours. (1 John 5:14-15 - Msg)

Unload all your worries on Him since He is looking after you! (I Peter 5:7 - JN)
You can throw the whole weight of your anxieties upon Him,
for you are His personal concern! (I Peter 5:7 - Ph)

Finally, my friends, keep your minds on whatever is true, pure, right, holy, friendly, and proper.
Don't ever stop thinking about what is truly worthwhile and worthy of praise. (Philippians 4:8 -

It is wonderful to be grateful and to sing your praises, LORD Most High!

THE RESULT OF BUSTING THE STRESS IN YOUR LIFE
If you do this you will experience God's Peace which is far more wonderful than the human
mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your heart quiet and at rest as you
trust in Christ Jesus. (Philippians4:8 - JB)
