This message is Part 8 of the message series “I AM” by Pastor Chuck Bernal. In this message titled, “I AM The Alpha & Omega”, Pastor Chuck talks about how Jesus is the Alpha & Omega for our eternity, for our salvation and for our lives. He "connects the dots" of various Biblical passages to help us see Jesus and His incredible plan for our lives. This message was delivered at LifePointe Church in Crowley, TX on Sunday, April 2, 2017.

1. I AM
THE ALPHA
& OMEGA

5. Good Biblical exegesis is like connect-the-dots.
One takes biblical data points (DOTS) and draws
relationships between them to form a complete picture.
This process helps people understand scripture,
because they see the big picture.

6. The Lord says, I am Alpha and Omega, the one who is
and was and is coming. I am God All-Powerful! . . .
Write down what I have said. My words are true
and can be trusted. Everything is finished!
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end…

7. I am coming soon! And when I come,
I will reward everyone for what they have done.
I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last,
the beginning and the end.

8. The first letter in the Greek alphabet is Alpha and it
makes the very same sound as our letter “A.” Omega is
the last letter of the Greek alphabet. All of the ancient
Greek knowledge is contained within that alphabet,
just as it is with our English alphabet
where all knowledge is contained within A to Z.

9. If you have a dictionary or an encyclopedia, think about
the fact that all of our knowledge is basically found
within these pages, beginning with the letter A all to the
way to Z. Because Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, He is
the beginning of all things and the end of all things.

10. He is everything, A to Z and all things in between.
He is the consummation of the entire Greek Alphabet
meaning that He is all and in all and Creator of all.

11. Jesus is the alpha & omega
for my eternity

12. Before anything else existed, there was Christ, with God.
He has always been alive and is himself God. He created
everything there is – nothing exists that He didn’t make.

13. Christ is the exact likeness of the unseen God. He existed
before God made anything at all, and, in fact,
Christ himself is the Creator who made everything,
the things we can see and the things we can’t . . .
all were made by Christ for his own use and glory.

made up of his people—that is, his Church—
which he began; and the first to come back to life

30. Jesus is the alpha & omega
