This document provides guidance on initiating a cross-selling process, including establishing trust and competence with clients. It recommends beginning with a conversational success story or plausible emergency scenario to pique the client's interest. Directed diagnostic questions should then be used to determine if the client faces a similar problem and how significantly it impacts them. The goal is to have an aligned conversation to explore constraints, issues, impacts, and the potential value of addressing the client's needs. Repeatable processes for cross-selling are important to provide sustainable competitive advantages.

Kijk eens even verder, want naast BIG archives beschikt u over vakmensen.

E-health is kortom boven alles mensenwerk!

This document discusses lessons learned from promoting social inclusion through functional adult literacy (FAL) groups in Ethiopia. While the groups aimed to be inclusive, in practice the poorest members of communities faced barriers to participation. Key lessons included conducting thorough context analyses to understand obstacles faced by the poor; addressing mindsets towards the poor through various means; ensuring donor commitment to long-term inclusion goals; identifying and removing social, economic, and psychological barriers; designing creative, inclusive programs; and monitoring inclusion through indicators and stories.

Presentatie lftw - paulien bruijn - inclusion in food securityannepartos
This document outlines lessons learned from including people with disabilities in a food security programme for ultra-poor women in Bangladesh. Key lessons include: ensuring inclusion is addressed in project proposals and selection criteria; budgeting and training staff for disability inclusion; collecting disability disaggregated data; and considering accessibility, disability-specific services, and social inclusion from the start of project design. Overall, the project found that women with disabilities were able to equally participate in and benefit from income generation activities, which improved their empowerment, status in the family, self-esteem, and community acceptance.

Sensemaker for Partos Plaza - Irene Guytannepartos
This document discusses the use of Sensemaker® software to evaluate development initiatives through the capture of micro-narratives in Kenya. Sensemaker® allows for the collection of many fragmented stories from target groups, which are then self-indexed by storytellers. Patterns in the stories are detected to provide quantitative data for evaluation while maintaining context. GlobalGiving tested Sensemaker® by collecting over 2,500 stories in Kenya to identify priority needs. The analysis revealed food, shelter, and safety as top concerns. Feedback loops with communities and partners can then be used to inform initiatives.
Public-private partnerships can help scale and accelerate sustainable trade by bringing together multinational companies, NGOs, and governments. These coalitions are demand-driven and aim for 100% sustainable sourcing. They involve multinationals investing in sustainable supply chains, NGOs training farmers, and governments supporting sustainable procurement. Successful coalitions require compatibility between partners, a commitment to common goals, and transparency to build trust.
