The OneWorld Atlas is a new data journalism atlas that will provide maps, graphs, and country comparisons on various themes using loads of available data. It will allow users to zoom in on individual countries and download raw data. The first themes to be covered are water, including water usage, pollution, and costs, as well as child mortality from shortage, and food, such as land grabbing, child mortality from hunger, obesity, and food waste. The atlas will go online next week and builds upon the previous MDG Atlas by making the data futureproof through an open CKAN platform.
