General duties of Partners[2]
The Partners shall run the business of the firm to the highest level of common advantage by being true to each other. They have to be accountable to one another and provide complete information of all the aspects of the firm , to any other partner or their legal representatives.
Duty of indemnification
Each partner shall indemnify the firm for any loss that occurred due to a fraud, in the conduct of the business.

A partnership requires an agreement between two or more persons, the existence of a business, and the sharing of profits. The Act applies to all of India except Jammu and Kashmir. It recognizes different types of partners and sets out the rights of partners, including the right to participate in business conduct, access books, and share profits equally. A minor can be admitted as a partner but only for the benefits of the firm until reaching age 18.

Partnership results from a contract and is governed by the Partnership Act 1932. The partnership is also governed by the general provision of the Indian Contract Act on such matters where the Partnership Act is silent. It is expressly mentioned that the provision of India Contract Act which is not repealed will be applicable on Partnership until and unless such provision is in contrary to any provision of Partnership Act, 1932. The rules of contract regarding the capacity to contract, offer, acceptance etc will also be applicable to the partnership. But the rules regarding the status of minor will be governed by the Partnership Act, 1932 since Section 30 of the Act talks about the position of the minor.

‘Labour legislation’ is a body of law formed for the working class of people to provide them with legal rights, and also restrict them with rules and regulations. It defines the rights and obligations of the working class. Labour law covers several areas-
Certification of Labour Unions – The Labour Union is issued with a formal document which ensures them the right to represent on behalf of all the labourers. This Union acts as an exclusive bargaining agent.
Collective Bargaining – The workers through their unions put demands before their employers, like the terms of their employment, payment, leave, health and safety policies and the number of working hours.
Labour-Management Relations – The head of any working organisation has to resolve conflict among his labourers because any misunderstanding between his employees will create a downfall in his work progress.
Workplace health and safety – It ensures that the employees are getting a safe environment to work in and are not physically or mentally abused by the work culture because in the end a better environment will only make them work with all their might.
Employment standards – It includes annual holidays, working hours, unfair means of dismissal of labourers, and compensation provided to the labourers who got terminated or have left the job.
TRADE UNION ACT 1926
Trade Unions in India are registered and file annual returns under the Trade Union Act (1926). Statistics on Trade Unions are collected annually by the Labour Bureau of the Ministry of Labour, Government of India. As per the latest data, released for 2012, there were 16,154 trade unions which had a combined membership of 9.18 million (based on returns from 15 States – out of a total of 28 States and 9 Union Territories).[1] The Trade Union movement in India is largely divided along political lines and follows a pre-Independence pattern of overlapping interactions between political parties and unions.[2] The net result of this type of system is debated as it has both advantages and disadvantages. According to the data submitted by various trade unions to the Ministry of Labour and Employment as part of a survey, INTUC with a combined membership of 33.3 million, has emerged as the largest trade union in India as of 2013.[3]
The firm or industry level trade unions are often affiliated to larger Federations. The largest Federations in the country represent labour at the National level and are known as Central Trade Union Organisations (CTUO). As of 2002, when the last Trade Union verification was carried out, there are 12 CTUOs recognised by the Ministry of Labour.
Employee Provident Funds 1952
The Employees' Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act was established in 1952 to provide financial security and stability for employees in India upon retirement. The Act requires employers with more than 20 employees to make contributions amounting to 12% of an employee's salary to their provident fund account, as well as pension and insurance funds. Employees can withdraw partial funds for needs like housing or education and full funds upon retirement at age 54. The law aims to help employees save during employment for future financial needs.
Company Act 1956/Types of Company
The Companies Act 1956 was an Act of the Parliament of India, enacted in 1956, which enabled companies to be formed by registration, and set out the responsibilities of companies, their directors and secretaries.[1] It was repealed and replaced by the Companies Act 2013.
The Act was administered by the Government of India through the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and the Offices of Registrar of Companies, Official Liquidators, Public Trustee, Company Law Board, Director of Inspection, etc. The Registrar of Companies (ROC) handles incorporation of new companies and the administration of running companies.
Since its commencement, it was amended many times, in which amendment of 1988, 1990, 1996, 2000 , 2011 & 2013 were notable.

The Indian Contract Act, 1872[1] prescribes the law relating to contracts in India and is the key act regulating Indian contract law. The Act is based on the principles of English Common Law. It is applicable to all the states of India. It determines the circumstances in which promises made by the parties to a contract shall be legally binding. Under Section 2(h), the Indian Contract Act defines a contract as an agreement which is enforceable by law.
Consumer Disputes Redressal Agencies
The Consumer Protection Act,1986 (COPRA) was an Act by the Parliament of India elected to protect the interests of consumers in India.It was replaced by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. It was made for the establishment of consumer councils and other authorities for the settlement of consumer's grievances and matters connected with it. The act was passed in Assembly in October 1986 and came into force on December 24, 1986. The statute on the right was made before this COPRA act 1986.
Consumer Disputes Redressal Agencies
Main article: Consumer Court
District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (DCDRC): Also known as the "District Commission" established by the State Government in each district of the State. The State Governments may establish more than one District Forum in a district. It is a district-level court that deals with cases valuing up to ₹10 million (US$130,000).[2][3]
State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (SCDRC): Also known as the "State Commission" established by the State Government in the State. It is a state-level court that takes up cases valuing less than ₹100 million (US$1.3 million)[2][3]
National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC): Established by the Central Government. It deals with matters of more than ₹100 million.[3]
Objectives of the central council
The objectives of the Central Council are to promote and protect the rights of the consumers such as:-
The right to be protected against the marketing of goods and services which are hazardous to life and property.
The right to be informed about the quality, quantity, potency, purity, standard and price of goods or services, as the case may be to protect the consumer against unfair trade practices;
The right to be assured, wherever possible, access to a variety of goods and services at competitive prices ;
The right to be heard and to be assured that consumer's interest will receive due consideration at appropriate forums;
The right to seek redressal against unfair trade practices or restrictive trade practices or unscrupulous exploitation of consumers
The right to consumer education.

- 4. INTRODUCTION: 🠶 The provisions of governing a partnership are specified in the partnership act of 1932. As per section 1of the act ,the indian parntership act came into force on 1 oct 1932and is enforciable in all parts of the country except the state Jammu and Kashmir . Before the enactment of the partnership act in 1932 ,the regulations governing partnership were a part of the Indian contract act ,1872,and it was felt that the act did not cover all the possible situations in a partnership ,and a separate partnership act was enacted .
- 5. DEFINITIONS OF PARTNERSHIP: 🠶 Partnership is a association of person with the object of jointly doing something to make a profit. In other words , when two or more persons , with the object to jointly doing something to make a profit . 🠶 Partnership is an agreement between persons having contractual capacity to carry on a business in common with a view to private gain. -L.H . MEANING OF PARTNERSHIP : 🠶 According to the Indian partnership act of 1932, a partnership can be defined as a “relation between persons who have agreed to share the profits of a business carriedon by all or any of them acting for all’ 🠶 "Partnership" is the relation between persons who have agreed to share the profits of a business carried on by all or any of them acting for all.
