The Źródliska Park was established in 1840 as the first park in Łódź, Poland. It was originally an English garden with numerous springs and was later divided into two sections, one open to the public and one belonging to the factory owner. The park now covers around 300 old oak trees estimated to be around 300 years old, as well as other tree species. Legend says the park is where the factory owner buried his treasures and people who searched for them at night were scared away by a figure and dogs. The park provides recreation for residents and also hosts concerts and chess games. It is considered an important natural and historical site for the city.

He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2. The history of the Źródliska Park
The Źródliska Park was established in
1840. It was the first park in Łódź. It used
to be a park called a walking garden or an
English garden. It was created by
separating fragments of the forest with
numerous springs. In the 19th century,
the park was divided into two parts. One
part of the park was accessible to everyone
the other one belonged to the factory
owner Karol Scheibler.
3. What's in
the park ?
• The park includes,
among others Palm
house, historic gazebos
and restaurants
5. Legend
Legend has it that after the death of Karol
Scheibler, the place where his "devil's"
treasures were hidden was a secret.
It was supposed to be Park Źródliska.
Legend has it that there were a few
daredevils who went to the park at night and
began digging in search of treasures.
Then a violent storm broke out, and in the
lightning bolt, at the end of the park alley,
the figure of a limping man in a hat with two
black dogs standing beside him appeared.
Terrified people fled, and when they
returned to the park the next day, there
were no traces of them.
6. The park has been declared a natural monument and
is covered with many old oaks.
Their age is estimated at around 300 years. These are
the most valuable monuments of the park and one of
the most valuable in Łódź. The thickest of them has a
circumference of 480 cm. The oldest Platanus trees
also grow there. Many other trees can be found in the
park. For example hornbeams, white willows, weeping
willows, maples, poplars, ginkgo biloba, pines,
European larch, chestnut trees.
Nature and
flora of the
park
7. • While walking in the
Źródliska park, we can see
ducks in the pond and
swans. We see squirrels on
the grass and trees. Like
the southern European
horse chestnut, along with
the small horse chestnut
insect. It is a butterfly
found in Europe, considered
an invasive species and pest
of the horse chestnut.
8. • In the Źródliska Park you can ride a
bike, go to a restaurant, take a walk
and admire the beauty of nature.
• You can also play chess and play
outdoors. Annual music concerts are
also held in the park's gazebos.
9. Why the Źródliska
Park is important
for the inhabitants
of Łódź?
• The Źródliska Park is important for the
inhabitants of Łódź. Both Park Źródliska I and
Park Źródliska II are the oldest parks in Łódź.
The most valuable oak species in Łódź grow
there.
• The park for residents from the very
beginning was a place not only for relaxation,
but also for social meetings and cultural and
entertainment events. The area of the park
was recognized as a natural monument and
entered into the register of monuments, and
in 2015, it was also covered by the title of a
Historical Monument. We can be proud that
we have such a park
