- 2. Introduction • Ranked on Barron’s past lists of Top Financial Advisors, Gary Fournier manages over $1 billion in assets as a managing director with JPMorgan in Los Angeles. Beyond his work as a money manager, Gary Fournier supports a variety of local nonprofits, including Parents Helping Parents. A San Jose, California-based community organization, Parents Helping Parents (PHP) oversees a number of events and offers a variety of support services and resources to assist families of children with special needs. To help parents, children, and professionals discover new technological tools, PHP maintains it’s iTech Center, which features instructional devices, software, and apps on display. As the San Francisco Bay Area’s largest center dedicated to assistive technology (AT), the iTech Center gives visitors the opportunity to work with AT tools for children and adults with disabilities, senior citizens, and struggling students. Those who take advantage of the center’s Techsploration offering even receive one-on-one guidance and hands-on demonstrations from experts on a variety of AT resources. In addition to one-hour Techsploration appointments, PHP’s iTech Center hosts AT workshops and training for parents, educators, and community groups.
