Presenting the history and strategies behind Pandia Search Central, a Web site with a blog about web searching, the search engine industry and search engine optimization
This document describes a community space called Garaget that serves as a cafe, creative space, library, and open stage. It allows community participation through tools, events, and surveys to include everyone's voices. The goal is to start small, try things out, find new collaborations, and go in provocative directions to create an inclusive space for the community.
The document summarizes the history and geography of Norway. It notes that Vikings inhabited Norway in the 9th century and several kingdoms emerged. Norway was united later and converted to Christianity in the 11th century. It was also united with Sweden and Denmark in the 14th century. The document provides details on Norway's capital Oslo, terrain of rugged mountains and fjords, adoption of a constitution in 1814, and population of around 5 million today. Key geographical locations mentioned include the North Cape, Geirangerfjord, and Holmenkollen ski jump.
Sweden has a population of 9.5 million people mostly living in urban areas. The capital is Stockholm. Sweden's economy is based on exports of mechanical engineering, automotive, information technology, and other industries. The majority religion is Lutheran Christianity, and elementary and high school education are free for Swedish children. When doing business in Sweden, punctuality is important and it is best to keep conversations focused on acceptable topics like sports or travel rather than personal matters or complaints.

Norwegian National Policy for Open Online Higher EducationSusanne Koch
The document summarizes Norway's national policy for open online higher education. It discusses the challenges to open online learning in Norway, including that digitization of higher education is lagging, faculty hold copyrights to their teaching materials, and there is no common platform for open educational resources. It also notes a window of opportunity for policy changes due to structural higher education reforms underway in Norway. The document recommends that the ministry develop a national digitization strategy and use MOOCs to test new teaching methods in order to advance open online learning in Norway.

Climate Impact of Software Testing at Nordic Testing DaysKari Kakkonen
My slides at Nordic Testing Days 6.6.2024
Climate impact / sustainability of software testing discussed on the talk. ICT and testing must carry their part of global responsibility to help with the climat warming. We can minimize the carbon footprint but we can also have a carbon handprint, a positive impact on the climate. Quality characteristics can be added with sustainability, and then measured continuously. Test environments can be used less, and in smaller scale and on demand. Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.
