Panda Bear Oscar, Alexandra, Judith and Elisabeth live in small, remote bamboo forests in mountainous areas of west-central China and high mountain forests and bamboo thickets in China, Myanmar, Nepal, and part of India. They eat a daily diet of 12 to 38 kg of bamboo. The giant panda grows up to 1.5 meters tall, weighs around 100 kilograms, and has distinctive black and white fur markings. The number of giant pandas has declined significantly due to illegal hunting and loss of their forest habitat.
