Patrice Emery Lumumba was a Congolese independence leader and the
first democratically elected leader of the Congo and played an important
role in campaigning for independence from Belgium.
His death is attributed to the Belgians and the CIA, who teamed up in
order to have him killed. The CIA ordered his assassination but could not
complete the job. Instead, the United States and Belgium covertly
funneled cash and aid to rival politicians who seized power and arrested
Lumumba.
Lumumba, tried to achieve one significant goal which lead to tensions
between Belgium and the Congo and ultimately, his demise.
What was this ‘significant goal’?
Parallel hint: 1953 Iranian Coup d’etat
Answer: He tried to nationalize Congolese natural resources which
included Cobalt, Copper and Diamonds.
The X is a United States Military decoration awarded in the name of the
President to those wounded or killed while serving, on or after April 5,
1914, with the U.S. Military. The original X was established by George
Washington as the Badge of Military Merit.
The Badge of Military Merit was only awarded to three Revolutionary
War soldiers. From then on, as its legend grew, so did its appearance.
Although never abolished, the award of the badge was not proposed again
officially until after World War I.
The interesting fact about X is that, till date, all the X awarded by the US
Military were made before WWII due to the United States anticipating a
high amount of deaths against Japan. In typical US fashion, those stocks
still last till this day.
What is X?
Answer: The Purple Heart
X, also known as dermal melanocytosis, is a benign, flat, congenital
birthmark with wavy borders usually found around the lower back of
babies. It was described and named by Erwin Baelz, a German
anthropologist based in Japan.
The colour of X is caused by melanocytes that are usually located in the
surface of the skin. It affects nearly 90-95% of Asian populations and 80-
85% Native American infants. Even 46% of Latin Americans are born with
X. Even black babies have X at a frequency of 96%.
Interestingly, the term X has nothing to do with the Khanate of any
emperor, even though misguided stereotypes will state that X are a result
of the vast expanse of a certain empire. Give X.
Answer: Mongolian Spots
X was an ancient Mesoamerican city and was the largest center of the
Americas in terms of economy before the Aztecs. Its name literally
translates to ‘birthplace of the Gods’, though that isn’t much help to you.
The city included various monuments such as Pyramid of the Sun, Pyramid
of the moon, Temple of the feathered serpent, Palace of Quetzalpapalotl
etc. In pop culture, X has been shown more or less as a city with a barbaric
culture due to evidence being found of the practice of Human Sacrifice.
Presently, it lies in the San Juan X municipality of Mexico and was deemed
a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.
X please.

Banco Nacional Ultramarino was a European bank with operations
throughout the world, especially in certain provinces.

with Caixa geral de Depositos, a government owned savings bank, in 2001.
The bank continues operations today in Macau under the same name and
is also licensed to issue ‘patacas’.

X was an Indian political activist. She was
married at the age of 14 to her husband,
who was at the time 13. She worked
closely with her husband and even
moved to different regions of the world
due to his employments with different
organisations.
One of the most famous incidents of her
life is her husband threatening to throw
her out of his house if she refused to
accept the servant he had brought for
household chores while they stayed
outside India.
What is happening here?
Answer: The protection of the Khejri trees by the Bishnoi tribe of
Rajasthan.
The foundation stone of X was laid by then Emperor George Albert which
was promulgated by the Land Acquisition Act of 1894. Two knights of the
order of the British empire were given the task of creating something
befitting the King of the British Isles and the regent who would take his
place in his absence.
X took nearly 20 years to build and when completed, didn’t serve much
purpose to the general public around the area due to its unnaturally strict
rules. However, after 1947, X nearly doubled in size overnight due to a
large influx of people from _________ and the government had to relax
norms in order to establish settlements.
The political status of X still swirls in a lingo due to the bureaucracy and
poor framing of laws. I want the exact term.
Answer: New Delhi, the capital of India. Not to be confused with Delhi, the
city around New Delhi or Delhi, the state in which Delhi and New Delhi lie.
Not to be confused with NCT of India either, which includes 57% of
Haryana, Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida, and parts of Rajasthan.

X is a nick name of one of the largest metropolitan areas in the world. It
was first popularized in the 1920s by John J. Fitzgerald who worked for the
Morning Telegraph.
Its etymology is a mystery. One theory states that the term was coined by
Jazz Musicians who played all around the city and used one half of the
term for any town or borough which offered them gigs and employment.
The earliest written citation of X is the 1909 book The Wayfarer in

Villa Las Estrellas(Chile) and Esperanza Base(Argentina) hold a unique
distinction which has been attempted by various other countries before
and will probably be tried in the future as well.
Although the claims of the two countries which control these towns are
unavailing due to a UN resolution on the same, the countries maintain
these two towns nevertheless.
The dispute also includes claims by Australia, UK, France, Spain etc.
What’s the unique distinction the towns hold?
Answer: Both are the only permanent, year round human settlements on
Antarctica. The towns serve the purpose of establishing territorial claims
over Antarctica by the two countries.
The following are the chances of something happening in different
countries:
USA: 1%
Canada: 75%
India: 46%
What we are talking about here, has probably been studied by most of us
in our school days, with the distinction being classified as metallic and
non-metallic in different book lingos.
What very important statistic to a country’s tertiary sector, are we talking
about?
Answer: These are the percentages or chances of encountering an
unpaved road.

X comes from the Arabic term ______ which means “the dice”. The term

on a negative connotation because games of dice were associated with

by X being a surname in French speaking areas of the world.
A modern medical word; X as a Latin word was not used in an anatomical
sense in classical times, but rather a sheath.
A sheath is defined as a close fitting cover for the blade of a knife or a
sword.

The word X is an anglicization of the Classical Gaelic word ____ meaning
“water”. The ____ was further inspired from the Latin term Aqua Vitae
meaning ‘Water of Life’ and hence the trend continued with X.
Much is also made of X’s spellings with two different schools of thought on
the issue. One is that the spelling difference is simply a matter of regional
language convention for the spelling of a word. The other is that the
spelling should depend on the style or origin of the spirit being described.
In Ireland and US, an extra e is common in usage whereas British spellings
do not include the e.

  • 8. The X is a United States Military decoration awarded in the name of the President to those wounded or killed while serving, on or after April 5, 1914, with the U.S. Military. The original X was established by George Washington as the Badge of Military Merit. The Badge of Military Merit was only awarded to three Revolutionary War soldiers. From then on, as its legend grew, so did its appearance. Although never abolished, the award of the badge was not proposed again officially until after World War I. The interesting fact about X is that, till date, all the X awarded by the US Military were made before WWII due to the United States anticipating a high amount of deaths against Japan. In typical US fashion, those stocks still last till this day. What is X?

It affects nearly 90-95% of Asian populations and 80- 85% Native American infants. Even 46% of Latin Americans are born with X. Even black babies have X at a frequency of 96%.
