campaign
P2: Create a plan for a cross media advertising campaign in
response to a client brief.
Products I’m going to create: Social Media
• I am going to use social media as a way of advertising my film because it is a
big platform to get my new film out there. For example Instagram,
Facebook, twitter, YouTube, etc. Social Media is a good way to advertise as
the target audience are likely to always be on it because social media is a big
part of society to this day.
• Social media advertising is a much more effective way to nurture leads and
transform prospective customers into loyal ones. This is because social media
allows you to engage and interact with consumers unlike any other
advertising platform.
Products I’m going to create: Print
• I am going to use print (Billboards, newspaper ads, posters and side of
busses) as a way to advertise my new film. Large, bright, eye-catching
graphics with one key message is the best route – it will leave people with a
lasting impression in their mind. Ads on billboards are free to passers by –
they don't have to buy a newspaper or a cinema ticket in order to view your
message. ... With billboards you have a guaranteed audience.
Specifications : Billboards, Posters
• I am going to make a 48 sheet billboards, 3 metres high and 6 metres wide,
which means there's considerable space for an advert to be displayed. They
are the most popular form of outdoor advertising, and they're often
positioned higher up, which means they demands attention.
• I am also going to use A3 posters for shop windows and A1 posters for bus
stops, train stations and many more places.
48 sheet billboard
• Size: 609.6mm x 304.8mm (tenth size)
• Safe copy area: 569.6mm x 274.8mm
• Resolution: Minimum 300dpi (450dpi best)
• File Format: High resolution PDF (CMYK)
• Text Format: Outlined vectors for upscaling
Purpose of film :
• The purpose of my film is to entertain my views and make them experience
a REAL horror film, wanting my views to be engaged and be worth every
penny.
