o Lead the ULTRIX V4.2A project from engineering approval (Phase 1) through the ontime shipping
of the product to customers that included participants from several facilities.

● Designed and implemented the first version of Factory Installed Software shipped from DEC for the
ULTRIX operating system. Lead development effort that included participants from Albuquerque NM,
Palo Alto CA, Nashua NH, Westfield MA, Maynard MA, and Ayr Scotland. Met all schedule milestones
delivering a product reducing system install time from 60 to 18 minutes.
● Led Installation project for DEC ULTRIX V3.1 through V4.2 that involved 2 to 4 engineers.
Participated in overall project meetings, providing Installation related input and testing status.
● Led QA projects for ULTRIX V2.0 through V3.0 for the VAX hardware platforms and V3.0 MIPS RISC
platform. Developed test plans and performed unit / system testing for all supported hardware platforms.
Reviewed and provided input for all books being submitted for each release.
