Through our partnership with Thornton Township we
are able to provide these one time food boxes to the
families and individuals in our needs program
whether they reside in the township or not.
When necessary we purchase food in emergency
situations.
Currently working to join the Chicago Food
Depository as a member organization, with plans to
open our own food pantry.

JOB ASSISTANCE
Working with various organizations to provide jobs
for those in our needs program.
We have immediate job placement available
through a program which transports people to a
couple of different factory locations provided they
are physically able to perform the work.

HOUSING ASSISTANCE
We work with South Suburban Pads, CEDA and
other state housing programs to provide
apartments and houses to those in need.
We work with the transitional housing program
Ordered Steps to provide housing for qualifying
veterans.

SOCIAL SERVICE AND PROGRAM REFERRALS
For those individuals and families in our needs
program that we are unable to assist through our in
house programs. We have a list of qualifying local
and state social service organizations that will
provide assistance.

PRAYER SUPPORT
We share the needs and concerns of those in our
needs program with a network of individuals both
inside and outside of our ministry. All of them have
become part of Overflow's Angel Network.

and new interviews every Sunday.
 We have served over 250 local
people through our clothing pantry.
 Our Clothing Pantry has provided
countless others through our
overseas missions support in
Mongolia, Guatemala and Africa.
 We have moved and assisted
moving 30 individuals from
homelessness to housing.
 We are currently providing food for
6 to 8 people each week

OUR MINISTRY NEEDS
We are seeking general operating support for our needs based social help
program. We wish to reduce some of the burdens to families in our local
communities who are suffering. We would like to provide more General
Assistance in the following ways:
•Grocery Cards: To assist those waiting for their approval in the state run
LINK program and as supplemental help for our food pantry
•Fuel cards: to help with transportation to work, job interviews and doctors
appointments.
•Bus and Train passes to work or school
•Operating expenses to provide temporary employment in our furniture,
clothing and food pantries.
