One World, One Classroom
Problem
 Educators are not preparing students to be future ready.
Learning is rarely connected to the real world. Students
are lacking knowledge about the world around them and
the opportunities available for their future.
Solution
 An International Educational Development program, that will create a
pathway for educators to teach the curriculum in a broader, global
and sustainable way. Educators need support to think innovatively, to
lead change and to campaign for the success of the students they
teach. Future ready students can be the change-makers of our world.
Products

spaced over a 12 month period or five intensive days of

Learning Beyond The Walls
 'In September 2015, 193 world leaders agreed to 17 Global Goals for
Sustainable Development. If these Goals are completed, it would
mean an end to extreme poverty, inequality and climate change by
2030. The Global Goals are only going to work if we fight for them
and you can’t fight for your rights if you don’t know what they are.
We believe the Goals are only going to be completed if we can make
them famous.' www.globalgoals.org
Why the Global Goals should be in all classrooms:
1. To teach children about the world.
2. Children learn empathy and compassion.
3. Children become active participants in the world they
live in.
4. Children and teachers are inspired to take action. -

Our Global Classroom Mini Schools
 With many children missing out on the opportunity to participate in global
collaboration, collaboration technology and to see the opportunities the world
has for them, Our Global Classroom Mini Schools will offer classes after school
for students.
 Hands on learning, current technology tools for collaboration such as Buncee,
Flipgrid and Belouga.
 Global Goals exposure and opportunities to invent, innovate and campaign
about world issues. ’
 Too many children are coming home doing pointless worksheets that have
little connection to their learning.
 Our Global Classroom Mini Schools will offer real life learning opportunities
that children can carry with them into the future.'
Creating Future Ready Students
 “Young people need to bring more than knowledge to the
modern workforce. If you struggle to solve problems,
collaborate or come up with new ideas, you won’t fare
well in today’s or tomorrow’s job markets,”
 Mitchell International Fellow, Professor Bill Lucas, also
said school curriculum should prioritise creativity, critical
thinking, curiosity and communication skills.
