9. Preventive maintenance
• Handpiece disinfection, lubrication, and sterilization.
• Always run the handpiece without a bur in place for 20
seconds after lubrication to expel any excess lubricant.
• Never clean any handpiece in cold sterilant or chemical
disinfectants. This may damage or corrode some metals.
• It’s advisable to fill the bottle in purified water .(for
handpieces protection).
• Clean the lamp from the dust to get enough lighting.(weekly)
• Lubricate all moving joints in the chair.(monthly)
